chapter 4- Alive?

~three hours later ~

"That was torture! I seriously don't know why my dad put people into chains and stretch-" Trey and Gabe put their hands on my mouth.

"You can complain about school at home, especially if it has to do with your dad." Gabe whispers in my ear. I pout cause I really wanted to yell and scream and all that junk, but if I did then I might have end up back with dad. I do not wish to go back ever, ever again!

"How much longer do we have to walk?" I whined.

"Only about five minutes. Geez you complain more than Mrs. Rogers next door." Trey answered.

"Can someone carry me then?" I asked holding my arms out in front of me. All of a sudden Gabe pulled me and Trey into a dark alley.

"This is the only time I'm doing this, Sophie. So don't expect to happen again. I rarely use my magic out of the house, so we don't get caught." He yell-whispered at me. Trey looked happy, probably because he didn't wish to carry that far. Gabe chanted some mamojumbo and we fell into the portal and landed on beige carpet softly.

"We're home!" Trey yelled all throughout the place. He yelled so loud, Gabe and I both put our hands on our ears. That's when I noticed that I had my blue pale skin back and Trey had grey skin. I turned to see that Gabe had black rocks with lava between the cracks as his skin.

"What are you, gabe?" I asked him.

"Hm? Oh.-" he said looking down at himself, " I'm a lava monster/wizard but I didn't want to be a monster, so I left and found this place. So, yea."

"Oh. ...Wait," I sniffed the air and smelt something burnt, "eww I smell something burnt." I scrunched up my face.

"Yes! Mom made us food!" Gabe and Trey yelled in unison. They ran off and  I followed them to see that Gabe is pulling something out of the oven and Trey is sucking the red out of an apple.

"Seth? Is that you I hear?!" I hear a groggy voice say.

"No, its just us mom!" Trey yelled after he chucked the gray apple in the trash. I then see a woman with pale blue skin like mine walk down the stairs. She looked at me and ran up to hug me and I hugged her back instantly feeling a lot safer. She pulled away keeping her hands on my shoulders, looking me in the eyes with the biggest smile on her face.

"I can't believe you're still alive!" She said hugging me again

"I don't know what you mean, mam." She pulled away again and stared at me.

"You're name is Sophie, right?" I nodded. "Oh! I've missed you so much! Wait until your brother sees you, he will be so happy!" She sounded higher pitch than Lexi, and that's saying something. We heard the door open and turned our headsand saw another person turn pale blue like me. As soon as he saw me, he hugged me. Geez this family hugs a lot. He hugged me so tight, I'm surprised that my eyes didn't pop out of my sockets. He let go me and looked up at me in wonder. That's when I realized what the woman meant.

"S-Seth, is that really you? And mom?" They both nodded and I pulled them into a hug.

"Moooom... Can Trey and I get hug too?" Gabe whined. Mom and I both pulled them in.

~a lot of hugging and crying later~

I was now sitting on Seth's bed. I have a sleeping bag rolled out on the floor at least till I get a bed. Mom said Seth and I should share his room so we don't bring random person inside and do inappropriate things.

"Hey,Seth. How old are you now"

"14."

"I'm so sorry I missed you turning into a teenager."

"Its cool. You being back again takes care of all that junk."

"Thanks. I'm just wondering, but how did you and mom live? I-I saw you both die." I asked on the brink of tears.

"To be honest, I don't know." He said sitting next to me, rubbing my back. "Hey let's go ask mom. She has to know, right?" I giggled at his attempt to make me feel better.

Yea, she might know." And we walked across the hall to mom's room.we knocked on the door.

"Come in!" We walked in and she was Looking though some photo albums.

"Mom, how are you and Seth alive?"

"Well..."

Cliffhanger! Haha! How do y'all think they lived? Hmm... Anyways I found out that a fallen angel was not the best choice so I decided to do something different and yes I will try to change the details of the story. Either that or its already changed. Also if anyone likes this story please comment.
