Season 2: Chapter 7

The next day we get ready to go to the Arcade. I put on blue jeans, a regular black shirt, converse and I decided to steal Billy's denim jacket since he said he's not gonna wear it today. We get in the car and Billy drives away. He stops at the Arcade for me and Max. Max opens the door and gets out and I get out to,

"If you're not out in an hour--" Billy starts but gets cut off,

"Walking home. Yeah, yeah, we know." Max says looking at Billy,

"Hey! Watch the attitude Shitbird" Billy said and me and Max grabbed our boards and closed the door. Billy quickly drove off and Max flipped off Billy and we walked into the Arcade. We walked up to the dig dug machine and seen it was out of order,

"Sorry about that road warriors" Keith a guy who works here said to us,

"What happened?" Max asked,

"Short circuit in the motherboard. A real bummer. But fret not. I got another machine up and running in the back." Keith responded back to her. We followed him as he lifted a door thing attached to the desk.

"Hold these" He said as he handed his cheese balls to Max to hold as he walked up to the door. He unlocked the door and opened it. Keith took his cheeseballs back and wee looked in the room seeing Lucas, he smiled at us. Me and Max walked in the room.

"You better get me that date now Sinclair" Neither said grabbing the knod,

"I told you I would" Lucas said,

"And keep things PG in here, all right?" Keith said and shut the door. Me and Max turned to Lucas,

"What is this shit stalker?" Max asked walking up to him,

"Sorry just needed a safe place" Lucas said and Max grabbed my hand again,

"A place to what? Be creepy?" She asked him,

"Listen, I'm gonna tell you both the truth about everything that happened last year. But if anyone finds out you could be arrested... Possibly Killed" Lucas says and I widen my eyes,

"Killed?" Max asked him,

"I need to know. Do you both accept the risk?" Lucas asked us,

"Oh my god" I say,

"This... This is so stupid" Max said and I nod,

"Do you accept the risk?" Lucas asked again and we looked at him,

"Yeah" I said to him,

"Sure. Fine" Max said agreeing,

"We accept the risk" I said and we both put our boards down and sat in chairs next to each other and Lucas sat down to,

"Let's hear it" Max said with crossed arms,

"Last year... Will didn't get lost in the woods. He got lost somewhere eles." Lucas said and Max looks at him with confusion on her face.

Sometime has passed and he was talking about Eleven fighting off a Demogorgon.

"That was the last time we saw her. After that, she was just gone. I can't believe it's been that long. Feels like yesterday." Lucas said. I was feeling off the whole time about The Upside Down. I knew that place well sadly. Brenner would sometimes trap me there but I'd find my way out.

"Yeah. I mean, I bet. Wow." Max said drawing me out of my own thoughts,

"It's crazy. I know" Lucas said,

"It's crazy but... We really liked it" Max said and I couldn't tell if it was sarcasm or not,

"Liked it?" Lucas asked shocked,
