Winter's POV
After dropping Spring to her home, I went to the laboratory instead of going home too.
"Deal. We'll accept your offer," I said in a serious tone.
The scientist grinned. "I knew it... that one day you and your friends will crawl back to me because you need my help."
"In one condition," I replied back immediately.
He laughed. "Alright then."
"If someone has to sacrifice, I'll do it. Don't make my friends shoulder the tasks that are hard to handle. Let me do anything, let me handle most of it, just don't let them handle a task that'll hurt them."
I don't know what kind of tasks he wants each of us to do. One thing is for sure, this scientist will play us dirty.
The scientist shook his head with a broad smirk, signifying his evil plans. "How brave, Mr. Inverno. This is why I let you take on the most power among your friends. Your parents couldn't bear a child so they asked for my help in exchange for... a high amount of sum. I used my experiment on the four about you, I let the four of you be born with extraordinary powers and you had most of it. You're the most powerful among the four. I was right about you."
