Maehara Hatomi

It was the weekends, a rare chance for Hatomi to catch a break and have a peace of mind. Hiroto was out on a date with Kaho and their parents were out visiting a friend, leaving the house to Hatomi and Kumo. It was unusually silent. But she loved it nonetheless. It was essentially free time for her to finish up some orders and get them mailed out for shipping.

Kumo purred on Hatomi's bed, scratching her back and found a comfortable spot inbetween of Hatomi's soft toys to sleep in. Even the little kitten decided to give Hatomi a peace of mind, allowing her to relax.

Hatomi usually have plans to hang out but it has been a while since she last recieved some peace and decided to cherish it before its gone. It was a rare occasion for her to not leave the house and have some fun with her friends. She would always go out at every chance she gets since she loved the outside world. The refreshing air was extremely welcoming to her nose and never fails to vacuum her mind of negative thoughts that she would so often get once in a while.

It has been a good few weeks since school had started and she has surrounded herself with nothing but her study materials. She could not risk her grades dropping at all. Some people seemed to view her as a stuck-up but she really couldn't care less. Terasaka had tried to get her to do his work once again but the ending of that situation never changed. She always refused.

Never do a man's work for him. Unless you want him to take advantage of you for the rest of your days.

Hatomi had decided to live by this after experiencing it personally. She refused to be used and recieve dirt in return for her efforts. She would rather be respected.

Hatomi looked at the dew dozens of orders that she had, almost half of them were packaged and ready to be mailed within the two hours that she started working. The sun shone on the ground, appearing as glistening as ever. A sign that this was the perfect day for her to start mailing and have a good nap. Days filled with studying has been tiring her to her very core, a break was very much needed for the hard-working girl.

Kataoka and Okano had asked if she wanted to go out with them for a walk but Hatomi had refused their kind offer. She was just really tired and wanted to close her eyes once she got everything settled. It was a rare chance for her to even catch a break.

After managing to settle Kumo down, she cycled her way to the post office. The glare of the Saturday sun made it's way to her eyes, obstructing her view. Hatomi had forgotten her hat at home. But nonetheless, she had the way to the post office essentially memorised due to the amount of trips she made there ever since the beginning of her small business. It was practically her second home at this point. Even the workers there knew Hatomi and even talked to her sometimes. It was sweet. It took a while for her to ship out everything but nonetheless she completed her job and decided to treat herself to a cup of iced drink before heading back home. She walked into a random cafe she found and decided to order a cup of matcha latte, one of her favourite drinks. She loved it.

She biked around the area for a while, drink in hand, enjoying the view and watching the busy people walk about, some stressing about their jobs. She wondered if she would be like this in the future, stressing about work and being an unhappy adult. She had sure hope not. She could see Hiroto being like this however, his woman playing life wasn't going to get him anywhere. Isogai however could make a honest living and be happy with his life, he was the time to enjoy the simple things. He was one of the most mature guys Hatomi knew, but that was due to the fact that he was forced to grow up and be the man of his family after his father was gone. It was sad to see him suddenly as an adult. It hurt to see her friend hurting
