Chrissy's POV:

"Hi Eddie."

"Hi Chrissy."

I saw his face turn red. I guess in a good way.

"Why are you blushing?"

"Me? Blush? Pah-leese!"

He looked away. I knew he was blushing. And I was too. But it wasn't visible behind my makeup.

"Uhm—so Chrissy?" "Yeah?" "How do I solve this?"

He showed me problem 16. By far the hardest equation on this work book. I didn't want to sound dumb so...I said nothing.

Eddie's POV:

I asked Chrissy if she knew how to solve for problem 16. She looked at me, and then stared off into the abyss.

"Earth to Chrissy?" I wave my hand in her face.

She snaps back into reality. That was literally the cutest thing ever. But I was still stuck on the problem, which wasn't cute.

"Sorry, I'm stuck on that one too."

"It's okay. You wanna... work it out together?"

She was trying so hard not to smile but it was very visible. She nodded and we both started to work it out.
