EXT: BACKYARD- NIGHT
A Beautiful Friday night in Chicago, Illinois, Candice threw an end of the school year party and invited the whole school. Candice frenemy Nicky walks in the backyard and spots Candice and her friends. Nicky looked at Candice with a fake smile.
NICKY
Hey Candice.
Nicky looks over at Candice's boyfriend Reggie in a flirtatious way, biting her bottom lip.
NICKY
(Flirtatious)
Hey Reggie.
Reggie gives her a head nod.
CANDICE
Nicky, what are you doing here?
NICKY
(Laugh)
Don't worry I'm not staying.I have stuff to do but, nice party.
Candice looked at Violet irritated.
VIOLET
But, she's still here.
Nicky looks at Violet and rolls her eyes.
NICKY
You know what Violet?
VIOLET
No, but I'm pretty sure you're gone, tell me.
CANDICE
Bye Nicky.
Nicky and her group of friends walk away.
CANDICE
(laugh)
You need help, but she knows exactly what she's doing.
VIOLET
She does, but that wig is nice on her right?
Everybody laughed and Candice looked at Reggie.
CANDICE
Next time, don't even look her way, but you did the right thing head nodded the bitch.
Reggie looks at both of them shaking his head.
REGGIE
Y'all ass crazy, but what are we doing sitting around for? don't let that kill your mood.
VIOLET
Period.
Candice giggled and everybody got up walking to go dance.
(Nicki Minaj- Good Form plays in the background)

EXT: FRONT OF THE KNIGHTS HOUSE-NIGHT
April was sitting on the front porch with Nancy,Travis, and Emily. Nancy looks at April with excitement.
NANCY
I can't believe we are on summer vacation with no more deberes.
APRIL
And then soon we will be back all over again.
NANCY
You just had to ruin the moment huh?
Everybody laughed.
APRIL
I'm sorry.
EMILY
Nancy, she has been like this ever since we were little.
NANCY
Point taken.
APRIL
Hey?
Travis looks at both of them and pulls out a blunt.
TRAVIS
(Grin)
On to better things.
Everybody laughed. As they sit on the porch smoking, a group of boys walk up to the house; it's no one but some boys from school;Joseph and April's boyfriend Keith, but also walking up is April's twin brother James.
JAMES
Why y'all sitting up here?
EMILY
Because, we wanted to spend time together ,before I leave to visit my grandma in Florida.
KEITH
For how you gonna be out there for?
EMILY
For about 2-3 weeks. I can't stay away from them for so long.
Emily pulls them into a sympathy hug.
APRIL
(Fake crying)
You love us that much.
JAMES
(James claps)
She is such a good actress.
Everybody laughed.
APRIL
(Laugh)
You stupid.
Keith walks up and takes a seat by April while Nancy is passing the blunt to James. Emily goes up to talk to the other boys and then they proceed to the backyard.
Candice walked out the backyard in a hurry. April jumps up and runs over to Candice.
APRIL
Candice? Candice? C?
Candice looked down at her phone because she received a message and looked nervous. She looks back up at April.
