(Basically Thoma chooses Ayaka in this chapter)
"I've thought about it during my time alone and with you guys, so I'm positive that I want to be with Ayaka" I tell them. "Oh.. I understand.." Ayaka says, "... WAIT WHAT??" Ayato taps her shoulder, "Good job..!" Ayato congratulates her a slight wrinkle of sadness in his brow but appearing happy everywhere else on his face. Ayaka jumps up and hugs me, "I really.. can't believe this, I love you so much Thoma..!" she exclaims in happiness and starts kissing me passionately. I then see Ayato walking away, as if accepting defeat was an easy task, and I know that for him, most of the time it isn't. If for his sister though, he would "do it a million times again just for her". My attention turns back to Ayaka, "I love you too." I say with a smile while wiping a tear forming in her eye.
My life with Ayaka since the beginning has been paradise, we comfort each other in sadness and help each other when needed, my life is filled with happiness everyday because of her. In other things, Ayaka and I have talked about sexual involvements and she's decided she's uncomfortable with that, we're plenty intimate, and besides who said that all relationships have to go beyond just romantic things. If for her I'd be okay with just about anything she would want or wouldn't, I'm not sure how different things would be with Ayato, but perhaps I would be just as happy. Then again though, I'm happy with the way things are and wouldn't change them for the world.
