Jessica's point of view

"You must be insane, you want me to go on a mission with you? Oh God, you are finally losing it."

He must be out of his mind because of you

"Don't even think that for a minute, this is strictly business. I got a computer geek called Ricky and he Is meeting us on the highway in the next two hours." He paced the room and walked back to me.

"I was called upon a couple of days ago, lives are on the lines, innocents. A gang from the East is going to a Gallery to get some artifacts that are worth over three million dollars. They'll kill whoever and however, they have to, to get what they want."

"There is only one way to stop them because I know what they are going to do, they are going to bomb the place up." He sat down on a sofa and got up, clapping his hands together he stands in front of me again.

" I can't be in two places one time, I need you in my eyes, in case Kevin comes back, I'll need you to help me to get Rollins under my protection once and for all and I need you alive to that."

"What are you saying?" I knew deep down he would need a partnership but me? That never came to mind.

"If you don't come with me, I don't think there is anything else here to distract me, joining this mission helps Jessica, it doesn't only help me, but it helps me not to kill him, believe me, I want him dead." Revenge and mix emotions seep from him. It circled him and his eyes begged me to say yes.

"Under one condition," I said, knowing I'll be asking for a lot.

"Name your price,"He sat next to me.

"I'm going as a friend, not as your girlfriend or your fling thing."

For a moment he looks at me as if I have two heads, then allows my words to connect.

"Okay, as my friend, one more thing first, something I wanted to do."

"What?"

"This," Just like that he sweeps his head down and pressed his lips to mine, automatically I felt my lips respond. Savouring the feeling of his lips against mine, a sexy tingling heat ran down to my toes.

"Woah!sorry!" Mary said and we quickly broke apart, he stood up and turn his back. I heard Mary's footsteps running away and I got up and walked behind him. Shyly I lay my fingers on his shoulders and he looks at me sideways, I trail my fingers across his muscles and his eyes burned into my skin.

"What are you doing?"

"I have no idea," Like an innocent girl I said, he grabs my wrist and pulled me to his chest.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

"Do you want me to teach you?"He whispered.

"Friends don't do that," I whispered back and pulled away.

***
"Are you ready?" He came to my bedroom and asked an hour later. I was already packed and so I nodded.

Trevor's point of view

As I stare at her, I knew that it was more than just wanting her sexually. It's like I want her around, I crave for her to be there to look at, to hear her voice.

Almost everything thing in my life is a coverup story and I don't feel like a coverup around her. It's like am finally healing from my dad's death.

You have to start over. That's what they say. But life is not a board game, and losing a love one is never really "starting over". More like " continuing without."
