Have you ever felt like a semicolon                                                                                                                            Like you want to end it but not yet                                                                                                                                Like you fall in love but you are distant

There was a person in the bathrooms
Crying
Then I was it
Swatched on their wrist a black semicolon

I looked down at my wrist to see one too
It stung to know how they felt
Wanting to end

Knowing the lifted scars on our bodies are still there
And would not leave us alone
They were taunting

I now know we aren't alone
They let me help
And they helped me

Cause I too wear a semicolon on my wrist
