It was tiring. Being in an unhealthy relationship for far too long has exhausted the shit out of me. I was deeply in love. Madly, even. I was so into it that I stayed in that relation ship for five years. I was too in love for my own good. My friends had always told me to get out of it while it was still early, but I was way to stubborn back then. And now,  I'm regretting it.

"Another glass, please. Martini."

"Coming right up, ma'am."

Cale was my first love. And I was hoping he would be my last. I was clinging unto that hope that I didn't notice when he fell out of love.  It's still fresh in my mind. Him, kissing that girl passionately.

"Here you go, ma'am."

I immediately drank the whole glass of martini that the bartender served.

"Another glass."

I don't want to cry. I don't want to waste a single drop of tear for him. But, damn. My tears always betray me.

I immediately took the glass of martini that the bartender was about to serve and drank it in one go.

"Woah. Chill there, miss. A beautiful lady like you shouldn't drink like that. you don't know how many men would want to take advantage of you right now."

I smirked.

"Like how you're taking advantage of me right now?"

I admit that I'm already feeling dizzy. I took out some cash from my bag and placed it on the counter. but the world seemed to spin when I got up.

"See? Told you it wouldn't be good for you."

The man carried me like I was as heavy as a pillow. Looking at him up close, I can't deny how handsome this man is. With those sharp jawline, thick eyebrows, and deep green eyes.

"Hey, what do you say about spending the night together?"

I guess I was too drunk to be able to say that.

After that, everything happened too fast. All I remember was him driving his car to somewhere, and us kissing in a room.

When I woke up, my whole body was sore. My head was blank as I stared at the face of the unknown man sleeping beside me. I was too scared to ask what happened. No, I was too scared to acknowledge that something happened between me and that stranger.

All I could think about at that moment was to run. And so I did.
