The lady with an elegant dress glared at the twins,a boy and a girl,that seems to be 3-year-old, physically,but the truth is they're already 5,the malnourished and small structure of their body makes them looked younger.She then tightly gripped their arms,which makes them flinch and cry in pain.

"Mother,hurt p-po"

The woman just tightened her grip.The pale skin but already scarred arms of both kids,turned reddish.They cry and wail even more.The maids that was standing at their back,remained emotionless and silent.While some of them felt some sympathy towards the pitiful twins,most of them felt nothing,not even a care.Why would they care on them anyway? They're just a forgotten children of the duke,and worse of all,an illegitimate children.

"It hurts?huh!?Talagang masasaktan kayo dahil hindi kayo marunong makinig!?You filthy trashes!You dare to show your face in front of me!? You both are just some trash that my husband made with that filthy slut!Kaya huwag kayong magreklamo!You deserve this--ah,no!You don't even deserve my touch,you pests!"she exclaimed.

The twins,even if hurting, didn't resist their mother's grip,it was the only way to feel their mother's touch,it was the only way to attain their mother's attention,even if it hurts them.They let their mother's painful and resentful words engraved in their mind,the innocence of words that they should be only hear long gone and was replaced with harsh,tainted and sinful ones.

The lady called for the head maid furiously.

"You!What did I told you!?Ikaw ba'y hindi nakikinig sa aking mga utos!?Why did you let them roam around the Duchy!?Diba't ang sabi ko sayo'y huwag mo silang hahayaang lumapit sa akin hanggat naririto ako!?Wala kang silbi!"

The head maid trembled in fear.The lady's voice sounds like a thunder painfully striking her ears.Napalunok siya at dali-daling lumuhod.Her head bowed down.A thin layers of sweat starting to form in her forehead.

"F-forgive me,my lady! Please punish me for commiting such a graveful s-sin!"

Her voice was trembling,and her heart was pounding.What she has done was nothing near from such as sin.But the lady's mind was nothing like that.Lahat ng bagay na kunektado sa kambal ay kasalanan.

The twin,Charmelita and Claudus, were the  fruit ot the Duke and his first wife's love.Charmelia,the Duke's first wife died from childbirth.Since then,the Duke ignored his children,not caring about their existence,blaming them for the death of his beloved wife.

A year earlier,the emperor and the elders pressured him to once again,get married, where in he gave in and that's when Tharassia Vel Ramones got selected as the Duke's bride because of his father's fame.

Hearing the news,Tharassia was ecstatic.She felt that she's in cloud nine.It was her dream,her only dream to marry the Duke since their childhood.She has always been in love with the Duke.She's the first one to love him,even before his first wife,Charmelia.She's happy,alright.Not until the Duke treats her coldly since their wedding and toss her aside,making her also forgotten.The anger and sadness she felt only got worse when the Duke joined the war as the general the day after their wedding.

She felt so lonely.The grief she felt got bigger and bigger as the days,weeks,and years goes by,waiting for the return of her husband.

Her anger towards him was directed towards the twin.Her first abuse was when they were two,but only by words,calling them names,blaming them for everything.She got physical when they turned three ng mapansin na nakuha ng mga ito ang mga mata ni Charmelia.She made a ruckus.She almost strike Claudus' eyes with a broken piece of blade.But thankfully,some of the wondering knights stopped her but only got fired.

The abuse reached the duke's ear when the twins turned 4.Tharassia was happy when he got back but was then vanished when the Duke only warned her to stop hurting the kids then immediately got back to the battle.That's what he only did,warned her.It only shows that the care he has for the twin were so little that's close to nothing.

The maids,learning that,later on started to abuse the pitiful children.The years of abuse was very painful.The twins did nothing to deserve that.The love, affection and adore that they should only feel was became a nonsense to them.

At the age of five, their body was full of scars frome the abusive people on their surroundings.The things that happened to them in that Duchy,stayed in that Duchy.Not a single gossip was heard outside,making the Duchess and some of the maids free from the sin of abusing.

"Lock them up in that place!"the Duchess ordered,which the two of the maid quickly fallowed.She then fired the innocent head maid,but after ordering someone to whip her 100 times.

After the ruckus end.The Duchess got out and happily spent million of golds,from dresses to luxurious accessories.After that she attended a tea party,talked and laughed with the other ladies,as if she hadn't done something horrible.

Though her beauty is enough to compare to a goddess,her soul,mind,and heart was much more worse than a monster's.
