Your POV

I stared blankly at myself in the mirror. I had on a pale yellow ruffle top and light blue jeans, my h/l, h/c hair sat as it normally did on its own. However, I felt as though something was off.

"You look fine N/n," Will Byers sighed from my bed.

Jim Hopper, my nonlegal guardian, had decided to set up a makeshift wall in the middle of Jane's bedroom, creating two smaller bedrooms. One for me and one for her. Much to my distaste, the wall did not muffle the sounds of her and Mike Wheeler's make out sessions.

"Something's off," I huffed, turning to the boy with a pout on my face.

"Are you okay?" He smiled, raising an eyebrow jokingly. I giggled lightly, jumping on top of him. He let out a strangled breath, followed by a low chuckle.

"You're cute when you try and humour me," I laughed airily, pressing a short kiss down on his lips. I slowly rapped my arms around his waist, still on top of him. As I rested my head on his chest, listening to his heartbeat.

"I'm cute always," he scoffed.

"Your ego is stronger than my will to live," I joked.

"Hey!" He scolded, hitting the top of my head lightly.

"Shhhh..." I hushed, deciding to listen to the music that was coming from Jane's room instead of my boyfriend.

"Hey!" Jim's voice sounded through the living room. A loud bang was heard, and I assumed it was the Jane's door. "Hey! 3 inch minimum!"

"Ooh, Mike is in trouble." Will laughed, me joining in as well.

"Keep the door open 3 inches!" The chief yelled, fiddling with the door knob. "El," tap, tap, "Open the door. Open the-"

Will and I were brought to tears at this point. I quickly rolled off of him, gripping my stomach tightly.

"What's wrong?" I could barely hear Mike through the music and laughter. But his comment just made us laugh more.

"What're you two laughing at," Jim sneered, peeking into my room.

"You." I choked out, pointing an accusing finger at him.

"Will, get off of her bed." Hop said, crossing his arms lazily.

"No." I replied for the boy. Knowing that he would've obliged.

"What?"

"No." I said innocently.

"Get off her bed." He repeated. I, being the badass I am, got up and sat on Will. Sticking my tongue out in a childish manner.

"Teens," He sighed, walking back to the tv.

I scooted myself off of Will, laying back down in the position I was before. Me and Will both turned to each other at the same time, causing us to splutter out laughs.

"We, are such dorks," I snorted.

"Yeah. Yeah we are," he grinned, leaning over to connect our lips again. I held it longer this time, holding his chin delicately in my hand.

He smiled into my lips before pulling back.

"So Dustin's coming back from camp tomorrow." Will brought up.

"I still don't understand why he went to camp at the beginning of November." I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Me neither," Will sighed. "So, you ready to surprise him?"

"Definitely," I said, "he is my best friend, plus I got him a gift."

"Oh really? What is it?" The brown haired boy asked.

"That's between me and Dustin." I stated, looking away from Will and towards the ceiling.

What Will didn't know, was that Dustin and I had been sending letters back and forth throughout his week long absence. So, I was the only one who knew about Suzie. Or should I say, Suzie Poo.

"You're difficult, you know that?" He asked.

"I'm also a bitch." I agreed.
