The phone comes flying towards my hand. I look at the callers ID. It's Harry? Hello? Hey Pete it's Harry he responds. I'm so tired I don't know what time it is. What time is it Harry? Late....early....I don't know I've been up all night he answers. Oh I respond. Hey Pete, I need to see you he says. Yeah ok I answer. No for real, I'm dieing he says. I fall of the ceiling. But I think you can save my life he continues. Ok, I'll be there in about 30 minutes I tell him while hanging up. I walk up stairs and put on a black button up shirt. I switch my pants and walk back down stairs. I look at the clock. It's 1:30 in the afternoon. Aunt Mae is at the hospital now, so she won't know I'll be out. I put my suit in my backpack and leave the house. Man what did he mean he's dieing? I walk to subway station and scan my metro card... haven't done that in awhile. I sit on a bench and wait for my stop. Manhasset the announcer yells. I get up and walk of the subway. The last thing i hear before the doors close is " last stop cony island" the announcer yells. I walk out if the subway station to find myself in a crowded street of new York. I can see packed just down the block. I walk there in about 5 minutes. I walk there the doors of Oscorp. Man they sure have changed sense the last time I snuck in. Hello are you mister parker? a lady asked me. Ummm, yeah and you are? I respond. I'm Felicia, I work for Mr.Osborn. she responds. Here is your Oscorp badge she says while handing it to me. We walk over to the counters. You just swipe your card threw here and.... "the doors open" there you have it she says. I swipe my card and walk in. Ill guide you to Mr.Osborn she says. We walk into an elevator. The doors close and I hear something that made me jump. What floor please the women on the screen says. Top floor please Felicia responds. Thank you the women says while the elevator goes up. So you know harry as kids Felicia asks. Ummmmm, yeah sense we were eleven u told her. Must have been a nice kid she says while she exits out the door. Right this way she says while opening his door for me. I walk in to see harry playing with a rubber ball. Hey harry I greet him. Please leave us harry says to Felicia. Are You sure you don't need anything else she ask? Just go harry yells as he throws the ball against the wall. My spider sense tingle. The ball bounces of the wall and hits a vase. The vase smashes on the floor while the ball goes flying towards Felicia. I catch the ball right before it hits here face. She looked scared. I throw the ball back to harry. You gotta be more careful man. Felicia goes towards the broken vase to pick it up. You don't have to do that right now harry tells her. Are You ok she asks? I look at his hands, there shaking like crazy. Yeah I'm fine, can you just leave me and my friend alone. She nods and walks out. I stare at him. You ok harry? I ask. Not Pete he says while bouncing the ball against the window. I'm dieing, but I think you can help me he says while walking to his business room. He sits down and pulls out a file on his desk tablet. This is what I found he says. He pulls up a video that looks like his and my dad. The video starts. " hello my name is Richard Parker and Oscorp and I have started a new cross species genetics program. While Curtis dinners works on lizards cross species. Were working with spiders. These spiders will fix the humans including with self heal." The video ends. That 12 years with nothing to show harry says. But maybe this he says. He swipes his finger on the table and a video shows up on the wall. It looked like Harry's and I'd dads. He presses play.

The video ends.... that's 15 years of research, and nothing to show harry says. He sits up. Except this harry says while pulling out a newspaper and slams it on the desk. It was today's copy of the Daily Bugle. He points at Spider-Man. What i ask? Spiderman, that thing bit him and he is perfectly fine harry continues. What does this have to do with me I ask? I walk down the hall. My spider sense tingles. I turn around and catch gwen. Hi she says breathless. Hey I smile at her. What are you doing here she asks, What are you doing here I ask her.She grabs my hand and pulls me into the maintenance closet. I look threw the gaps in the door. I see a Oscorp security officer walking down the hallway. She's not here the officer says. I look at gwen. She smiles. Your in trouble I tell her. Yeah she responds. What's that all about I ask. There was an accident in the genetics labs, and they are trying to cover it up she says. I found out she continues, that guy from times square last night.... I met him, he was an electrical engineer she says. And he loved, like loved Spiderman, he was a fanatic she says. I didn't get loved last night, I got more of he wanted to kill me with electricity I tell her. That's kinda what it is like to love you she says while smiling. I shoot a web at a coffee mug and grab it. The officer is walking down the hallway. I turn around and the coffee spills on his coat. I'm so sorry I just spilled a hot coffee on you sir, I'm sorry I tell him. Dammit the guard says! I trip the other officer conning behind me. I spill the rest of the coffee into the last guards face. And you too, I'm so sorry. I pull off the guard's jacket. Miss stay right there the guard says to gwen. She smiles and walks into the elevator. Hey! Both the guards yell! Alright on your way then I push the guard over. Sorry I'm all clumsy today I say while skipping down the hall.
