Chapter Nine : first kiss

I woke up and looked at the clock it's 6:37am I turned onto my side to see Eddie there his hair in his face and arm around my waist and the other behind his head "god he's such a messy sleeper" I said quietly so I didn't wake him, I carefully moved his hand off my waist and went to the shower it's my first day back to school since everything happened and I'm happy I had Eddie with me. I got out the shower and walked into the bedroom where I see Eddie up getting himself dressed I looked at him and smiled "morning sleepy head" I said walking over to my closet. "morning sweetheart" he replied putting his rings back on, I got out a plain white T-shirt with blue denim shorts, I put my hair into 2 braids some mascara and brown lipstick I looked up in the mirror and see Eddie just staring at me admiring "take a picture it'll last longer" I said teasing him, he just looked down blushing. I got up and walked over to him and wrapped my harms round his waist and cuddled into him and he wrapped his arms around my shoulders bringing me into his chest I looked up to him and was just mesmerised by him and he lent into me and before I knew it our lips crashed together and we was kissing, I was kissing Eddie fucking Munson.

*Eddie's POV*
I couldn't do it anymore every time I looked at her I just wanted her I needed her be mine she was just looking at me this is my chance, I lent in and placed my lips onto hers so scared she was going to pull away but in reality she was kissing me back! Y/n fucking Henderson was kissing me! The freak!
"I really, really like you y/n" I said to her as I pulled away from the kiss our foreheads still touching as we stared into each other's eyes "I really, really like you too Eddie" she told me, my heart and stomach are doing backflips. "Would you be able to give me a lift to school?" She asked me tracing her finger on my chest "of course" I said kissing her forehead and climbing out the window "I'll honk to let you know I'm outside" I whisper-shouted to her and she just smiled.

*Y/n's POV*
He climbed out my window and told me he'll honk when he's outside, I looked at the time and see it was 7:24am and neither of us had breakfast so I ran into the front room and put my white converse on and grabbed my denim jacket and got the box of honey nut cereal and ran outside with Dustin as Eddie honked Dustin gave a confused look but I said I asked him last night instead of getting a taxi. He just shrugged and got in the back of the van as I got in the front and took a handful of cereal before giving Eddie some and he started the van and drove off it was all laughs on the way to school and them telling me they reorganised the d&d game and asked if I'd come they didn't need a sub this time they just wanted me there especially Eddie. I agreed and as soon as we got into school Dustin got out and ran over to Mike and Eddie got out ran over to my side before I could even open the door and opened it for me, he helped me out and held my hand whilst he closed the door, he let go as we started walking into the school but I took it again interlocking his fingers with mine, we both had Science together so it's not like we'd be going separate ways, we got into the class and everyone stared at me not just because I was holding the 'freaks' hand but because I was covered in cuts and bruises after being absent for 2 weeks they was all whispering about me, me and Eddie both sat next to each other in the back of the class room and I always forget everyone else is there when I'm with him, he makes me feel safe.
