Chapter 5

"I don't want to go on that one" Calum whined

"Pleaseeeee" I begged

"Pretty please" Ashton added on

"Pretty pretty pretty please" Luke said as we all gathered around Calum.

Right now we were convincing him to go on the Ferris wheel but he claimed that he is scared of heights and it's never going to happen.

"I'll buy you pizza" i said, hoping that would convince him.

Calum looked at me for a moment and tapped his fingers against his chin dramatically. "What kind of pizza?" He raised an eyebrow waiting on a response.

"Whatever pizza you want"

"Pineapple"

"Pineapple?" I grimaced. Ew.

"Yes, pineapple" Calum smiled

"Then pineapple it is" I sighed, we have been trying to convince Calum to go on this ride for the past 15 minutes so as much as I would love to argue to him on why pineapple doesn't belong on pizza I simply decide to shrug it off and accept defeat.

"Yayy!" Ashton said throwing his hands in the air as he practically sprinted to the line and ushered for his to hurry up. The cart can fill total of six people, but luckily they didn't sit anyone else with us so we have this cart all to our selves. I sat beside Luke, Calum and Ashton on the opposite side. Calum looked out the window as we started to go up and gasped to how high we were going and he was now holding onto Ashton for dear life. We just laughed at him as he started closing his eyes and muttering when it's going to be over and about the pineapple pizza he's about to devour.

"So did Michael stop by?" I hear Luke whisper in my ear when Calum was distracting Ashton about how high we were and how we were never gonna make it.

I bit my lip, not wanting to think about Michael. I wasn't even sure Luke knew about Michaels new relationship. "Yea, he said the kiss didn't matter because it was just a dare," I started, not wanting to raise my voice too much, just enough for Luke to hear, "and how he's made it official with Alison" I signed and Luke immediately rubs my back.

"I'm sorry, Ava" Luke sighed.

"It's okay, at least I have you guys" I smiled and watched Ashton and Calum arguing. Soon enough the ride was over and as soon as the doors opened Calum sprinted out of there, making the rest of us chuckle.

"So Ava, about that pizza?" Calum grinned and I laughed.

"Well a deals a deal" I said as we all walked over to the nearest pizza place and I ordered a slice of pineapple pizza. I watch Calum happily eat it. Luke and Ashton then start talking about —- Well I don't even know. While they are all distracted I start looking around and see what else there is to do in the carnival.

"I'll be right back" I said to the guys as I start to wonder off. I see a basketball game stand and I look at the prizes and smile. They are so cute. The little avocado plush catches my eye and I fumble through my purse seeing if I have change.

"You're going to play basketball?" Someone laughed behind me, instantly recognizing the voice, I looked to see the three guys have caught up to me. Luke shaking his head chuckling.

"Ava, since I known you, you have no athletic bone in your body"

I jokingly pouted and lightly shoved him, "hey not nice!" I mean he wasn't wrong.

"I just want that avocado" I mumbled, nodding my head in the direction of the avocado and they all look at it.

"Leave it to me, the athlete" Calum said and dramatically walked past us.
