Stoney stared at her bedroom ceiling as Family Guy played in the background, she wasn't really thinking about anything. She really only wanted to go to sleep, but she knew it wasn't going to happen, so she didn't even try. She closed her eyes and just rested them while she listened to the TV.
Her phone started vibrating on the dresser, and she glanced at it then ignored it, the phone stopped vibrating, and she sighed before closing her eyes again. Her phone began to vibrate again, and she slowly grabbed it and looked at the unknown number that was calling her, she was about to swipe when the call went away, making her nod. She was about to put the phone back on the dresser when it started vibrating again, it was the same number calling her again.
She decided to just answer, "yo?" She deepened her voice and she heard, "Tabitha?" Stoney quickly sat up at the sound of India's voice. She seemed to be in a panic, "I-" Stoney stopped herself and looked at Avi'anna, who was asleep a feet away from her. Avi had on a baby blue bonnet, the cover was only covering below her naked waist and her fingers were interlocked with Stoney's.
"Tabitha" India repeated and Stoney sighed "fuck" she mumbled before slowly getting out of the bed and walking out the room. She closed the sliding door to the balcony, and she smacked her lips, "why are you calling me India?" Stoney asked, her annoyance very visible.
"I- I just need a little favor"
"...What's on your mind? 'Cause you been actin' differently lately, girl What's on your mind? I'm tired of arguin' What's on your mind? Yeah-yeah, ayy, ayy What's on your mind? Wait" •• 15 minutes later.
Stoney slowly slid the balcony door opened then closed, and crept back into the house and into her room. "Shit" she smacked her lips as Avi'anna was now awake, sitting up and had an unrecognizable look on her face.
"Where were you?" Avi'anna asked and Stoney's heart began to race, and she was about to start stuttering, she could hear it about to come out, so she swallowed harshly. "I- I um just went to smoke" Stoney replied then immediately regretted it 'stupid' Stoney thought. She was just telling herself she couldn't keep lie/hiding things from Avi'anna anymore, and she was already fucking up. "What did you smoke? How did you smoke if your blunt is right here Stoney?" Avi'anna asked, and she had the blunt in her hand.
