"Are you nervous?" "Nope" "why?" "Baby, why are you so close to my face?" "Just answer the question" "because parents usually like me" Stoney answered truthfully, and the answer made Avi'anna want to gag.
"How many girls parents have you met? I'm not special?" Avi'anna questioned, closely eyeing the side of Stoney's face "you're very special ma" Stoney replied, wanting to laugh at how close Avi's face was to hers. "Why are you avoiding the answer?" "Baby please" Stoney pushed Avi'anna's face away from hers and continued to look at the menu, she was trying to find something vegan.
They were having dinner with Avi'anna's mother and Stoney was okay with going to a non-vegan/ vegetarian restaurant because she knew they weren't either, but she was starting to regret it as she looked over this menu.
"Are you nervous?" Stoney asked her, and Avi'anna looked confused, "why would I be nervous to see my mother?" "I mean, are you nervous for me to be meeting her?" Stoney redid her question and Avi'anna smiled at her "incredibly" she answered honesty, and Stoney nodded and looked back at the menu.

"Was that the wrong answer?" Avi'anna asked as she noticed a change in Stoney's energy, "nope" Stoney mumbled, but Avi could tell she was lying. "Ba-" Avi'anna started but stopped when she saw her mom coming in their direction "mommy" Avi'anna met her halfway and hugged her, squeezing her tightly. She hadn't seen in mother in months, and she hated it, both of their schedules were hectic so they just FaceTimed mostly.
