Avery

After Audrey got dressed, Sophia calls a meeting in the common room. Ameera left long a go. Everyone takes their places as Sophia stands at the door in anger.

"What's going on?" Duke asks and Sophia glares at him, "You! You're the cause of all this! What was the need for you to scream at Ameera? It sure as hell was not her idea of all this. It was mine! She even tried to stop me. Heck, she was in favor of you! She didn't ask you to fall in love with her. You just did! Dumbass."

Duke looks taken aback before muttering, "But she went along with it."

"Guess she fell in love with you. Sorry if we have human feelings, too!" Hazel snaps and Duke flinches before cursing under his breath.

"Well, Ameera lost hers now." I mutter but everyone heard me. Duke raises his eyebrows, "What?"

"She turned off her humanity?" Katerina asks in disbelief as I nod, "Yup. We're back to 1864 people."

"Oh that is a time period none of us like." Damon groans and Stefan rolls his eyes at his brother.

"What happened then?" Katerina asks confused like always and Hazel sighs, "Daren left her thinking she cheated. Since Sophia decided to tell him about the adopted boy."

"I didn't think he would take it like that!" Sophia throws her hands up in defense as the door slams open yet again and two sets of heels are heard. Sophia closes her eyes, listening closely before they snap open in fear. She turns to Moira and widen her eyes.

"Why, hello, love." We all turn to see Moira's mother stand at the door.

Duke

Shit. I might have said a little bit too much to Ameera. I did love her, but it hurt that she never mentioned Jennifer. Now, she stood in front of us in a casual, bored attitude. She looks like a completely person. Her once soft and loving eyes are now hard and cold. Her posture now slouchy and relaxed. She glances at me and catches me staring. Her eyes held no emotion whatsoever. It hurt that she could feel nothing.

"I know a way to make the troubles go away." Charlotte, Mara's mother, says.

"Audrey and Mara stand next to me. I must reconnect you. To bring out the best of you." She commands and Mara reluctantly is dragged next to her mother.

"I cursed Duke! He is a ticking bomb!" Mara struggles and Ameera snaps her gaze to Mara before dashing to me and grabbing my face, "How long does he-"

My head tilts back as a bunch of troubles escape my eyes. Ameera gasps before tilting it back and soon the black objects flew into her eyes. Her body convulsed as it all came out of me and into her soul. Soon, I collapse as Ameera stands with her eyes closed.

"Ameera..." Sophia whispers only to gasp as Ameera's eyes flutter open to reveal dark eyes. Ameera suddenly floats up into the air a swarm of black and gold swirls of air surrounding her body before it drops her from a height of 20 feet. Klaus grabs her with ease as he lowers her to the sofa. Her body had dark leather patches of clothing instead of the glowing golden from before. Her hair had turned into dark red locks. Her face pale and nails painted black and long.

"What did you do to Audrey?!" Nathan screams and Audrey shushes him, "She took out Mara's evil side and put me in, Nathan. I'm back!"

"Ameera's gone, though." Dwight whispers and Sophia shakes her head in fear, "No, she's still there. In her original family curse form. She absorbed all the troubles by herself. She's turned dark. She's gone over the edge."

"Does that mean..." Avery falters as she shakes and falls to the ground, a blackish blue tail now in place of her long legs. Her face the most terrifying out of all. Her chin had disappeared and in place were sharp jagged teeth. Her eyes a dark charcoal color. Her blond hair now dark black. She looked so scary. Much scarier than a shark. Hazel curses as her hands turn furry and her face turns beastly. Wings erupt from her furry back. A tail slipping out. She was a flying lion.

Sophia glances at Katerina before they both gasp as blood starts flowing from their arms. Klaus gathers them before hooking them up to blood bags. Some empty while others filled. The filled ones sent blood inside their bodies as the empty ones drew the blood falling.
