Rosalie's POV
Panic and shock were two emotions that I felt as I watched Gavin get loaded into one of the ambulances.

I road with him and held his hand the entire time. I couldn't move, or speak, it felt like someone had me in a chokehold and wouldn't let go. Everything happened so fast, one minute I'm watching him walk to his beautiful bike with his best friend, the the next Edward is saving our mates from certain death.

I rushed over and was the first to get to him and cupped his cheeks and panickly asked "Gavin?! Are you okay?! Are you hurt?!" I began checking him for injuries because I had smelt his blood. I yanked my hand back revealing blood that had come from the back of his head. Gavin suddenly collapsed on my lap. He stared up at me as tears filled filled my vision "You idiot! Why didn't you at least try to dodge it?!" I yelled out. Gavin reached up and wiped away an ice cold tear that slipped out "I had to protect my sister" Gavin said before passing out.

"Gavin?! Gavin! Wake up! Please wake up! Don't leave me!" I wailed out and pulled his body closer cradling him into my lap.

I blinked and looked up when Carlisle came in "I've got this Abby" the nurse nodded and Carlisle approached us. He placed a hand on my shoulder and squeezed before going over to examine him. I heard Carlisle let out a swear and walk out to the hallway "I need a head CT now!" He came back and started getting ready to move Gavin out. His actions made me stand up from my chair next to Gavin's bedside "C-Carlisle? What's happening? What's wrong?" I stammered out in a raspy voice. Carlisle looked at me with a sympathetic look "I have a suspicion that Gavin is bleeding into his head" he then wheeled Gavin out of the room.

I stood and watched as Carlisle wheeled my mate away. I couldn't understand how this could've happened or why. It felt like I was in a nightmare and couldn't wake up 'Gavin please.....don't leave me alone again. I want to try and be a good mate for you, even if we can't have a family together. I just want to be with you.'

Gavin's POV
I woke up hours later with my head throbbing and my body feeling like lead.

I groaned at the blurry and bright LED lights overhead and even more so when another blurry bright flash entered my eyes "Sorry about that Gavin. I just needed to check your eyes reflexes" a rich male voice with a hidden British accent said. My vision cleared and I looked over to see a model looking doctor.

He has ear-length blond hair, is 6'2 ft tall, with a well-toned medium frame, gentle eyes and looks to be in his early twenties. He honestly looks like a movie star, he is slight but muscular and has a slight English accent from probably from his youth, but can speak with a flawless American accent most likely from living in a America for while. Overall he looks like Zeus's younger better-looking, non-predatory brother.

'I would totally smash him, but....well that feels like I'm cheating on Rosalie' I look at his eye color and my breathe catches when I realize that they're a molten gold color like the rest of the Cullens 'Crap...did I just say that I would smash my crush's dad??'

I winced as I sat up a bit more. Dr. Cullen immediately walked over and assisted me "What happened?" I asked "You were in an accident and hit your head pretty bad. We did a surgery to stop the bleeding and thankfully didn't need to shave your entire head" I instinctively reach up and feel my head. I feel some of my coffee-colored locks and gauze "Oh....where's Angela? And Edward and..... Rosalie? Are they all okay? Is Rose here still?" I asked rapid firing questions.

Dr. Cullen laughed and said "Whoa! Calm down! Everyone's fine....and your dad's outside if you want to talk to him" "Yes, please. He needs to know that I'm okay" Dr. Cullen nods and walks out.

A few minutes later my dad bursts in and takes long strides towards me "Gavin! Are you okay?!" He asked panickly as he runs his hands through his hair and scans my weak form laying on the hospital bed. I chuckle and say "Yeah, dad. I'm fine" I give him a smile to reassure him and it works. He calms down before nervously saying "That's good...well do you think you can convince your mom that she doesn't need to fly up here from Florida?" I sigh and ask "Where's your phone?" He immediately hands it over and I mentally prepare for mom's mother hen mode.
