Chapter 6

The New Student

<Dabi POV>

We have been walking down hallways upstairs for what felt like a century; Me lazily walking behind the dark-haired man as he tried to explain the school's rules to me. The key word there being tried. No matter how much he would snap his fingers or stop his sentences to get my attention I just couldn't focus on his words. They were too boring. 'Don't use your quirk on another student out of training' yeah as if I could anyways. 'Don't run in the halls', 'No vandalism', 'No bullying'. All of your typical school rules kind of bullshit. I started zoning out after rule 4 or something along those lines.

Sighing I look around the new hallway we have stopped in, inspecting it for anyways out. Sealed shut windows with what I would assume is bulletproof glass, Automatic sliding doors, and cameras on every angle. Though what did I expect from a high-end hero school like UA?
"Don't even think about it Mr," I turn my head towards Aizawa and hum questioningly "We have a hero tailing us, they have been since we left the hospital room. And even if you do get past them this school is filled with heroes and heroes in training you'll be captured in seconds." Aizawa turns to me with one of those 'Want to see if I'm bluffing' looks that parents give you when they threaten to punish you.
"Lovely, got it." I say turning my head once again to look around as we continue to walk. A few more hallways and staircases later we once again come to another stop in front of a door. Upon further inspection I spot a sign on top of the door; 'Class 1A Dormitory'.

"Alright this is the door to the class dorm and common room but before we enter there are a few things we need to talk about" Aizawa states as he turns to me with a drowsy look.
"And that is?" I grumble out. I take a slight step back shocked as I see his drowsy expression change to a completely serious and warning gaze.
"Firstly, If you do anything to hurt my students in any way I'll hunt you down myself. Got it?"
"Got it"
"Second thing, You are to be accompanied by a hero at least 6 meters away from you at all times when not inside the dorms or classroom." I scoff.
"For fuck sake you guys don't joke around." he shakes his head in response
"No, we do not. When leaving the dorms for anything you will press this button," he points to a small button on the wrist band-like cuff that has replaced my handcuffs. They're still quirk blockers but they are an upgrade. "It will alert whatever hero is not on duty and they will come to escort you. It will also alert us when you have left without a hero."
"What if I need to use a bathroom, will I have to wait for a hero to come to hold my hand while I take a piss?" He rolls his eyes with a huff
"Nice try but there are communal toilets and bathrooms inside of the common room section" worth a shot
"Moving on. Thirdly and lastly, for now you are not to leave school rounds. If you are ever aloud to you must seek permission from myself or Nezu and have a hero escort you at all times." he once again looks at me with that threatening parent's look.
"Whatever" I sigh, I honestly don't give two shits at this stage. What more did I expect?
"Alright well wait here while I go talk with the students first. Remember, don't try anything it will not end well." He nods towards down the hall where I assume a hero is hiding.
"Well, what am I supposed to do? Sit here and count sheep?" I say as I plonk my ass onto the concrete tiled ground. He hums slightly in acknowledgment then begins to dig inside of his pockets. He pulls out a notepad no bigger than my hand and surprisingly a bright pink, glittery crayon. I give him a questioning look to which he mumbles don't ask and tosses them to me.
"Entertain yourself. I'll be back in a few minutes." Shrugging I open the pad and begin scribbling as he walks away. What else am I meant to do? There's no point trying to escape a place with maximum security and pro heroes around every corner, especially with no quirk.
