It's exhaustingly hot in the rooms. My exposed skin sticks to the red leather couch because of the humidity. The least they could do here is turn on the fan. They don't want their patients getting angry around here. Especially the insane ones. Insane. That word was once used to describe me, but that's in the past. A past that still haunts me. I'm pretty sure every one at school knows about it, no thanks to Rich Rebecca. I will never forget the day I had told her in confidence that I had to see a psychiatrist. She went around behind my back and told all of her other friends. It's one of the many reasons I despise her. When she betrayed me, it opened my eyes to what she really was. Fake. As fake as a doll. The worst part is that she looks like a doll. She looks perfect and she acts like she has never done anything wrong. I am pretty sure she has had work done though. There is a lot of plastic in her. Her parents give anything she wants. She denies it, of course, but everyone can see through her lies. Then she plays the whole," I was picked on when I was little," act. Note to Rebecca: We don't believe you.
"Marlee, Are you ready for your last session?"
"Yeah, let's get this done and over with, Margret."
Margret is my psychiatrist. She has has jet black hair that reaches down to the start of her hips. Her eyes are a deep blue and she has perfect, pale skin along with dark red lips. Her body is proportioned perfectly too. She is skinny but has curves at the same time. The dress she is wearing is a seductive red and is rather tight. She must truly drive her male patients mad with desire.
"I am going to start this session with you, but I have another patient to take care of. Amber will handle the rest after I leave."
"Ok."
"Marlee, have the dolls moved since last time I saw you."
"No, dolls don't move. They never have and never will. I was silly and was looking for attention when I said they moved."
"Good, so every time you think a doll moves, what do you say?"
"It's all in my head." I respond. That rule has been drilled in my brain since day one.
Margret smiles,"Ok, Amber will take over now. Goodbye Marlee. Say hello to Scott for me." (Scott's my dad)
She reaches out to shake my hand and I take it.
"I will. Goodbye Margret.
And with that,Margret leaves the room.
Amber will take a while to get all the paper work ready, so I lay down on the sticky couch and close my eyes.
