Irene woke up the next morning. She felt dizzy and felt her eyes swollen from crying heavily last night. She sat on her bed, massaging her temper. She took a good few minutes before get off of her bed and walk to the bathroom to take a quick shower.

Later, she walked out of the bathroom in her bathrobe, droplet of water fell on the floor. She did not have the energy to dry her hair. Her head gets even heavy and hurt like its about to explode. She went back to her bed and get under the blanket, covering her petite body up to her chin, freezing to the bones.

Knock! Knock!

A few knock on her door alarmed her that someone is coming to her room.

" Irene? Are you awake? ", Seulgi asked. Irene did not respond to her question which made Seulgi walked closer to check up on her.

" Did you just got out of the bathroom? Why did you not dry your hair? ", she asked in concern tone.

Still not responding. Seulgi take a little closer look on Irene before she realize that her friend's body is shaking crazily.

" Irene? Are you okay?!", she panicked. Her hand automatically touched Irene's forehead to check her body temperature.

" Gosh! Your body is so hot! You had a fever! Wait here I will tell Taehyung and bring you to the hospital! ", Irene wanted to refuse but she had no energy to talk and when she move an inc, her head will pounding like crazy.

" Taehyung! Go check on Irene! She had a high fever! We need to bring her to the hospital now! ", said Seulgi in a rush.

Taehyung who just finish making breakfast with Jimin quickly left the kitchen and went to Irene's room.

" Irene! " he quickly check her body temperature and true enough she had a high fever. Taehyung was about to carried her but got stop by Irene's faint voice.

" Don't. No need to go to the hospital. ", she said as she breathing heavily. 

" Irene, you had a high fever. It will get worse if its not get treated. ", he tried to persuaded her but not to avail as Irene weakly pushed his hand away from her.

" I said no need. I'll be fine later. ", she said before turning around to another side, tighthened her grips on the blanket.

" Fine. I'll go buy you some meds. ", he said as he leave.

Jisoo walked into Irene's room with towel and a bowl of warm water on her hands. She placed it at the bedside table.

She stared at Irene who was sleeping uncomfortably on her bed. She do not know why her heart ache every time she look at Irene's face. She envy her so much. She gets everyone's attention, care and love which she never had.

She was wondering if she was the one who  is laying on the bed right now, will she get the same treatment like how Irene get.

" I hate you, Irene. So much. To the point I wish you had never exist in this world. You gave Taehyung to me but why you want to take him back from me? Why you have to love him too when you said you never loved him once? Why do you have to be an attention seeker? Because of you, Taehyung wanted to break up with me. Because of you, Taehyung never look at me the way he look at you. Because of you, I fall back into the darkness again. You... ", she could not finish her word as she heard the door got opened from her back.

" Jisoo-ah, is her body temperature still high? ", Seulgi asked.

" It's still the same as before. I brought the towel and warm water to wipe her body to cool down her body. Can you help me to do it? ", Jisoo fake a smile.

" Sure. Thanks Jisoo. ", Seulgi warmly smiled at her before went to the Irene's side and start to wipe her body.

" Jisoo-ah. I don't know what's going on between you and Irene. I hope it won't break our friendship. ", said Seulgi all of sudden. Not hearing any respond, Seulgi continued.

" You're my friend and so do Irene. Both of you has been a great friend to me and I don't wish to choose between the two of you if one day you two decide to end this friendship. If its because of your relationship with Taehyung, you don't have to worry. Irene will never snatch what is belongs to others. But, if that actually happen, I hope you will talk it out with Irene.", she smiled to Jisoo before began to wipe Irene's hands. Jisoo bite her lower lips, holding her tears as she walked out of the room.

Taehyung came back with a plastic bag filled with medicines that he bought from the near pharmacy. He went straight to the kitchen to prepare everything needed.

"Tae-", before Jisoo could say anything , Taehyung cut her off.

"Later", he said in a rush before walked to Irene's room with a tray of breakfast, plain water and meds.

Jisoo was taken aback with Taehyung's cold act towards her. She just wants his attention.

"Who am I to you?", she whispered to herself as tears rolled down on her cheek.

Taehyung put the tray on the bed side table before he gently placed his palm on top of Irene's forehead. Her body temperature has not went off yet which makes him worried.

"Irene, wake up.", he gently caressed Irene's cheek to wake her up. Irene weakly response to his calls. Her eyes slowly open to see a blurry sight of Taehyung's face.

"My head hurts.", she utter between her heavy sigh. Taehyung helped her to got up, fixing her position to rest her back on the bed headboard..

Taehyung bring a bowl of plain porridge that Jimin made closer to Irene before he scoop a spoon of it, wanted to feed her.

Irene without hesitation eat the porridge. As she going to eat a other spoon of porridge, she quickly got up and went to the bathroom to vomit everything out.

Taehyung quickly follow her to the bathroom to help her out. Irene sat on the bathroom floor feeling tired and dizzy. Her weak body could not help to bring herself back to bed.

"Irene.", Taehyung was about to help her to get up but Irene pushed his hand away.

"Go. Don't pretend like you care.", she said.

"Irene, let's not do this now. Come, I bring you to the bed.", Again, Irene pushed his hand away.

"I said go!", Irene yelled with all her might.

"Go, Taehyung. You should take care of Jisoo, not me.", she looked at Taehyung as tear dropped.

Taehyung heaved out heavy sigh. Hand running through his hair in frustration. Taehyung picked Irene's up, carry her to the bed. He placed 2 pills on Irene's palm and handed her a glass of plain water on the other free hand.

"Take the medicine and rest.", he said before walked out of the room.

Honestly, he was mad but not to Irene nor Jisoo. But to himself. He could not make a choice.

He obviously does not want to lose Irene, his first and only love. But at the same time, he promised Jisoo not to leave her. What should he do?
