" YOU WHAT ? ", she was completely shocked.

But then.

" Mmmppffttmmbuahahahha!! ", she burst into laughter after three seconds of silence.

" Yah! Are you kidding me right now? It was just a joke, right? ", she said in between her laughter.

Taehyung just look at her laughing out loud with his straight face. Irene whom noticed Taehyung doesn't react at all slowly stop laughing.

" Haaa.. haha.. ha. You're not joking? ", she cleared her throat.

" Do I look like I'm pulling a joke with you ? ", he said showing his poker face.

" I don't trust you, Kim Taehyung. You've always prank me with things like this. Stop it. It's not funny. ", Irene glared at him.

" What about this ? ", he asked.

" Huh- " Irene was startled when Taehyung suddenly took a step closer to her as his hand held on her chin and brought her face closer to him and yes you know what happen next.

Taehyung just give her a peck on her lips but it still manage to startled her and make her froze on her spot as soon as he pulled away.

It took her 30 seconds to process what was just happened. Her finger slowly touched her lips.

" Do you believe me now? ", he spoke.

" Taehyung, what the hell did you just do to me? ", she asked as her leg was trembling.

" I've always love you, Irene. Always. I can't love anyone else except you. You're the only one whom my heart belongs to. If you came here to change my mind, just forget it. It won't work ", he said.

" Yah, Kim Taehyung ! Why must you tell me all of this at time like this? What do you expect me to do? Be happy? Grateful? Honor ? You know it damn well how much Jisoo likes you and you know it too that I hate you. Do you think having a feeling for me will change that? No. I will hate you and always do. Unfortunately, you made me hate you even more. ", she paused as she look at his face who was looking straight into her eyes.

" Go and talk to Jisoo. You deserve someone who love you not someone who hate you. I'll pretend that I never heard any of this stupid confession of yours. ", she added before walked away.

Irene didn't realise a tears escape her eyes upon knowing Taehyung's feeling towards her.

If Jisoo haven't told her that she likes Taehyung, Irene will probably pull him into a hug. That is what she always wanted to do but she is not in a right place to do that. She does not want to be called as a betrayal.

Taehyung on the other hand balled his fist as he tried to control his anger.
' Am I not important to you, Irene? Fine. If dating Jisoo will make you happy then I'll do it. ', he thought.

Irene couldn't fall asleep and it's already 4:00 a.m.. She could not stop thinking that moment when Taehyung kissed her lips. It's not like they never had their lips touched with each other. If CPR is also consider as a kiss then they already had their first kiss on the day when Irene drown in the swimming pool. Thanks to Taehyung, she's alive up until now.

" If only you know it too, Taehyung. ", she utter before her eyes slowly closed and eventually fell asleep.

On the next day, Irene felt her life has changed. She gets anxious and nervous early in the morning. If she could choose, she wanted to change her course or maybe move to another university.
