" Kim Jisoo, will you be my girlfriend? ", he asked.

" What? ", both Irene and Jisoo uttered in unison.

Irene look at Taehyung in disbelief. She felt like she just stop breathing for a second. She could feel her heart broke into pieces the moment Taehyung propose to Jisoo. It happened all of sudden.

Yes. She did told him to date Jisoo but she was not really want him to do it. To be honest, she want him to reject Jisoo more than she want them to date but Taehyung was too dumb to read her message.

" What did you say ? Did I hear it right? ", Jisoo couldn't hide her smile after got proposed by Taehyung, her crush.

" I'm sorry. I should at least come with a bouquet of flower but for now I can only do this to you. ", he said as he held both of Jisoo's hand.

" I'll repeat it again. Kim Jisoo... will you- " Taehyung couldn't finish his line as Jisoo went to hug him almost immediately.

" Yes! Yes, Taehyung ! Yes! I do! ", She said as she hug him tightly, smiling from ear to ear. Tears began to roll down on her cheeks.

Everyone who was there were clapping their hands and cheer for the new couple. Seulgi and Jimin too.

Irene fake a smile as slowly she clapped her hands as well,  pretend to look fine. Taehyung on the other hand took a quick glance at Irene who was half-heartedly smiling at them before he brought his hand and wrapped it around Jisoo's body.

" Thank you, Taehyung. I love you. ", Jisoo's whispered to his ear. Taehyung could only nodded and smile.

' Are you happy now, Irene? ', he thought as his smile slowly fade.

Later that night, Irene has been laying on her bed for the rest of the day. Her lower abdomen still hurt that forbid her from moving or do any work.

" Irene-ah, here. Eat some soup. I asked Jimin to buy it for you. ", Seulgi said as she placed the bowl on Irene's study table.

" Thanks, Seulgi. ", she said. Irene slowly got up from her bed, walked to her study table and drank the soup.

" Feeling better? ", she asked. Irene just nodded her head. She's been a little quite than usual. Seulgi felt something is off with Irene but she thought maybe she was in pain so don't have the energy to talk.

" I'm happy for Jisoo. Before, I feel kind of worried that Taehyung might upset her but who would have thought that Taehyung will court her to be his girlfriend today. That was a really touching moment I've ever scene. ", Seulgi said while spinning her office chair around.

Upon hearing that, Irene accidentally choke on the soup. Seulgi got up from her seat and went to brushed Irene's back.

" Are you okay? Be careful. ", she said in concern.

" Eo? Eo. I think I need to sleep. My head feel dizzy. ", she lied.

" You want some medicine ? Maybe it will help you to reduce the pain. ", asked Seulgi.

" No, it's fine. I just need some sleep. ", she said as she got up and went to her bed.

" Alright then. Get some rest. I'll turn off the light for you. ", said Seulgi. She went to switch off the light and turn on her table lamp before starts doing her assignment.

Irene pull the blanket to cover half of her face, tightly held onto it as she secretly cried, not wanting to make Seulgi noticed her.

' I like you, Bae Irene. No. I love you, Bae Irene '

' Kim Jisoo, will you be my girlfriend? '

Irene's shoulder goes up and down as she tried really hard not to let out any crying sound that will make Seulgi noticed.

Things getting hard for Irene since Taehyung told her about his feeling and it gets even harder when Taehyung asked Jisoo to be his girlfriend.

Irene loved Taehyung. A lot. She never really likes anyone else as much as she likes Taehyung. But she chose to hide her feeling from him and pretend to hate him.

She did that because she thought Taehyung likes someone else back then.

THROWBACK

Taehyung and Irene is like a twin. They were always together wherever whenever. Taehyung always be there for her when she needs him. He always protect her and will get involve in her business especially when it comes to boys.

Irene's feeling for him keep growing day by day but her ego was too high for her to tell him. She always act recklessly around him and tend to annoy him all the time. It was just because she likes it. She likes to annoy him and he played along.

But one day, there's a new transferred student when they was in high school. She's pretty and tall. Everyone likes her and Irene guessed Taehyung likes her too. Her name is Im Yoona.

Taehyung started to get closed with Yoona and spent most of his time with her.

There was a day when Taehyung didn't came to her birthday party even though their house just opposite to each other. That was because he deadass went to hangout with Yoona at the funfair and he never apologize to her.

One day, Irene made up her mind and brave herself to confess her feeling to Taehyung. She text him to meet her at the playground near their house. But later that night, she waited for him for almost three hours alone on the swing, wearing a pretty purple dress, hair done and everything but he never came.

Next morning, Irene walked down the staircase, ready to go to school but then she saw Taehyung eating his breakfast that Irene's mom has prepared and...

Yoona.

" Hi, Irene! ", she greet.

Irene fake a smile and greet her back. Taehyung didn't bother to care about her as he was busy munching his toast. Irene control her anger and act as nice as she could not to ruin her image in front of Yoona, the girl that Taehyung seems to adore so much.

Later, they walked to school together. Through out their journey to the school, Irene just stay silent and walked a bit slower than them. She crossed her arms while looking at the two who was busy talking and laughing at each other's joke.

" Last night movie was so funny! Let's go and watch again! Ouh! Let's invite Irene too! ", she said in excitement.

Irene stopped on her track after what she just heard.

' So that's the reason he never show up last night ? ', Irene gritted her teeth.

" Eo? Irene? What's wrong? ", asked Yoona. Both of them were looking at Irene.

Irene glared at Taehyung who was looking at her with no sign of guilty shown on his face.

Irene walked in between the two of them and purposely bumped their shoulder with hers as hard as she could and left them behind dumbfounded.

Since then, she hid her feeling deeply in her heart and never even try to open it up anymore after realising that Taehyung might chose Yoona over her.

She tried her best not to fall deeply for him by pretending to hate him for all her life.

But who would have thought that she was wrong all this time. Taehyung actually likes her too but guess it was too late for her to regret, huh?

Kim Taehyung is someone else's boyfriend now and that person is Kim Jisoo.

This story is getting boring 😭 I'm sorry! I'm running out of idea and also i'm sorry for my poor writing and english skill. 😭
