Three giant ugly creatures emerged from the trees, running straight towards the squad. The creatures didn't look too happy either."Split up!" Hunter shouted before grabbing Omega by the hand and running with her.
The squad did as Hunter said, all of them scattering away from each other and sprinting as far away from the angry creatures as they could. All of them disappeared within the forest.
Once Bea couldn't hear anything but the noises from other creatures and rustling leaves, she slumped down against a tall plant and let out a tired breath. She could already tell this mission wasn't going to be as easy as she thought it would be.
After contemplating for a while on how to find the others, she quickly stood to her feet and looked around at her surroundings. Once again, nothing but giant plants and short grass.
"I don't think this is my favorite planet anymore.." She muttered to herself, letting out a frustrated sigh.
Bea froze completely when she heard rustling from a small distance in front of her. Another angry creature?
To her relief, Tech walked out from behind a tree and looked up from his datapad.
"Oh, there you are!" he chirped, his helmet hiding the joyful expression on his face. He was happy to finally find someone after running away from those rancors, especially since it was Bea he found. Though he hasn't known her for long, he's had this unfamiliar feeling every time she's near him. His heart beats fast, and he feels almost lightheaded around her.
Bea's eyes lit up and she stepped closer to him. "Dank farrik, I was worried I wouldn't be able to find you and the others!"
"Luckily we didn't run too far from each other. This could've gone far worse." he adjusted his goggles while trying to ignore the fever feeling that was occurring again.
"Agreed," Bea breathed out. "Any signs of the others?"
"Not yet." Tech replied with a slight frown.
"Well, looks like we're gonna have to find them ourselves." Bea said as she began walking in a random direction. Tech subconsciously followed her lead.
As the two of them walked in complete silence, Bea couldn't help but glance over at him every now and then. She felt her heart rate increase as she thought more and more about him, but didn't exactly know why. She's never felt this way around anyone, yet here she is, not being able to get him out of her mind. Something about him was alluring, and she couldn't figure out why she felt that way.
It made her worry. She's never had experience with this type of stuff, and obviously didn't know if he felt the same. Why would he? They did just meet each other a day ago—
"Bea? Uh, hello?" Tech's concerned voice snapped her back into reality, his gloved hand waving in front of her face.
"Oops, sorry about that," Bea sheepishly averted her gaze to the grass beneath her. "Just got distracted."
Tech's worried expression faded as he nodded and lowered his hand to hold onto his datapad. "I understand. I have trouble focusing as well."
"You do?" she raised a brow. "Hm, never would've thought that." she placed a hand on her hip.
"Yep." he let out a small sigh. "Being highly intelligent can be difficult at times."
"Ay, at least you have brain cells. Your brothers aren't too sharp," Bea smirked and playfully whacked his shoulder. "Except for Omega. That girl has more brain cells than me!"
A small chuckle came from Tech, causing butterflies to erupt in Bea's stomach. His subtle laughs and chuckles were everything to her. Something is wrong with me, she thought. Surely I can't be falling in love with this nerdy clone I only met a day ago.
"We should keep walking." she suggested as she forced herself to push away those worrying thoughts, earning a nod of agreement from the clone before they began walking through the forest again.

Hunter paced back and forth while Omega and Wrecker were calmly sat on a fallen tree stump.
"Hunter, stop worrying. I'm sure they're perfectly fine!" Omega assured her brother. "Right, Wrecker?"
"Oh, uh, yeah! I mean, they did run pretty far away.. but, I'm sure they're fine!" the larger clone replied with an unsure tone in his usually confident voice.
Echo returned from a short patrol around the area, a disappointed expression on his face. "I haven't found any signs of them anywhere. Maybe they found somewhere to stay?"
"It is getting dark.." Hunter stopped pacing to take a look up at the darkening sky. "You're probably right, Echo."
"Should we find a place to stay too, then?" Omega questioned, standing to her feet.
Hunter thought for a moment, then nodded in response.

"Never thought I would be spending the night in a tree with a clone." Bea said, her back against the trunk of the tree as she sat on a large branch.
"Well, it is the safest place possible. Felucia's forests are not too friendly." Tech replied from his spot on the other large branch next to Bea, his helmet resting on his lap.
Bea snorted. "Ya' think? Those rancors almost trampled us all."
"Indeed," a slight smile found its way into Tech's face. "I don't know what I would've done if I didn't find you."
Comfortable silence engulfed the two, the faint chirping and trilling of the night animals and bugs being the only thing they could hear. The infinite amount of stars twinkled above them in the black sky, the chilling breeze nipping at their skin. Bea's eyes trailed over to Tech, who was staring intently at the sky through the small gaps of the branches and leaves above them. The light from the stars shone through those gaps in the branches, reflecting off of Tech's eyes and light gray armor.
"I'm happy we get to spend time with each other." Bea thought out loud, catching Tech's attention as he looked over.
He just gazed at her, his brown eyes studying over the entrancing expression on her face.
Bea's cheeks grew hot when she realized what she had said, her green eyes slightly widening in embarrassment. She lowered her gaze to her hands, fidgeting with a random leaf she snatched from the branch she was sitting on, hoping he didn't catch on to what she said.
"You.. are?" he sputtered, blinking.
"Yeah, I am." Bea quietly answered, avoiding eye contact with him. It was as if she would melt under his curious gaze.
More silence.
"Uh, so, how was your day—" she began.
"— Im happy as well." Tech finally said.
Bea raised her brows as her eyes darted over to him.
He was the one avoiding eye contact now as he softly spoke. "You're nice to be around."
She basically just stared, not knowing how to reply. She knew she'd probably just stutter if she tried to say anything.
Her eyes sparked with adoration as she gawked at him, his gaze still avoiding hers.
Bea finally turned away in attempt to stop the butterflies that erupted in her stomach once again, a stupid grin on her face as she thought over what he said.
