Taehyung pov
The conversation between Jimin and Jungkook in the front and Mia's ranting to y/n about her idiot boyfriend in the back of the car filled the drive.
But after Mia's rambling, I saw y/n had still been in her thoughts
We were traveling an hour to a viewpoint from the Airbnb.
Mia had fallen asleep from exhaustion from the lengthy conversation when y/n abruptly caught my attention.
As a tear ran down her cheek, I heard some sniffles.
I had to support her in some way by diverting her attention from her thoughts because it made my heart tighten
"Hey y/n, were you able to sleep yesterday night after eating noodles? " I asked her as she flinched on hearing my voice out of nowhere and that too my question had also seemed to get the attention of both Jimin and Jungkook.
"Yea... " She said giving me a faint smile.
"Y/n, how is your boyfriend by the way? " Jungkook asked making me frown. I thought she didn't have a boyfriend as she never mentioned.
"Yah! You had a boyfriend? " Jimin asked being surprised with such a news.
"Oh well I used to have one but it turned out that I was just a dare and he ended up sleeping with someone else a week before we broke up" She said curtly.
"I knew from the first time I saw him, I felt that his name should have been Jackass instead of Jack" Jungkook said earning a chuckle from y/n.
"Who Jack?" Mia said half sleepy.
"Nothing" I said to keep the matter short as y/n seemed to be hurt by that jerk.
We had finally reached the viewpoint as all of us got out of the car.
When Y/n eventually removed her spectacles, her eyes became somewhat red and she appeared to be crying before getting into the car.
"Hey y/n, I know it's not my business but I don't think you have to cry because of that jerk ex-boyfriend of yours. To be honest, the same thing had happened to me but I learnt to move on even though it was hard. If you want to talk with someone you can come to me-" I was cut off when y/n hugged me tightly. I got a strange feeling when she hugged me, the feeling of butterflies in my stomach. I immediately hugged her back.
We stayed hugging for a while when y/n pulled out of the hug.
"Thank you Taehyung, you're really good at comforting me." She said with a pretty smile plastered on her heck of beautiful face.
But I had just one more thing to tell her, I like her but it was obviously not the time.

Slowly y/n and Taehyung became close and started hanging out often.
Both of them realised that they didn't like each other
They love each other.
