Chapter 2 Ivy takes over my heart

"So this weekend, do you guys have plans?"
We walk out into the courtyard and start to walk to the other side of the courtyard.
"No I don't" I answer then ask
"Do you Amber?" Hoping she didn't
"No not at all" she answered looking at me, half worried half confused I wasn't really sure which. We stop at the trees and Ash pulls some branches out of the way looking around in all directions
"come on" He says tugging my arm. We follow pushing the branch out of the way each time.

It looks so beautiful there where winter leaves everywhere. I had no idea this place existed, for years I thought that this place that just got random bushes planted in a square in the corner of the courtyard. I walk up to a bunch of ivy leaves. I release that it was a chair before the ivy had taken over. I grab a hand full of ivy and tug it gives way. "Do you guys want to come to heaven steps with us, like past heaven steps I mean" Sim said quickly breaking the silence.
"That sounds so fun" I pause ripping off the last bit of ivy
"I would love to go" I said seating down on the seat
"I never knew you where into gardening" Amber says smirking. I poked Amber in the ribs
"Do you wanna fight?" She asked playfully
"come at me" I shout standing up she steps abut closer and pretends to knock me out. I turn and give her the oh no face.
"Umm guys" Ash says looking at us awkwardly
"oh" I say quietly.

We turn to look at them there eyes starring at us.
"Awkward" I say breaking the silence. we all laugh
"So Amber are you going to come?" Sim questions
"Yes of course" she says bowing her head pretending to be the queen.

"This place is amazing how did you know about it?" I question in aw
"Oscar told us about it" Ash replies happily
"Really Oscar?" Amber says angrily
"it had to be him no one else, him" she crosses arms Sim and Ash look at each other "she hates him" I say "oh" they both say at the same time.

We all decided the next day we would meet again at Venx, that's what they call it, weird name I know.

Today seem to go by so fast I was looking forward to meeting up with Ash and Sim again. I go to my locker and look at my times table for my next class.
"shit" I say facepalming myself we have Mr Finch. I step into the classroom, I notice the door is completely gone, I walk in to find all eyes starring at me
"you and Ash will find yourselves in detention" he shouts throwing his hand in the air. Ash gets out of his seat and grabs my hand.
"Come on, let's go" he says slowly as we walk out of the classroom
"I'm so confused what the fuck was that shit about" I question angrily
"he found out some how, I don't know how or when but he knows" He remarks
"how about Amber?" I say as we turn the corner and head to the door.
"He doesn't know about her or Sim, just us" he says
"yay for us then" I say sarcastically. We get the door and he lets go of my hand and opens it for me
"I don't want another hulk stunt" he says patting me on the back.

I liked him this for being so perfect well in my eyes he was perfect. we make our way to the brown detention seat I know it's really scary haha ha.... Sarcasm really gets to me sometimes. I sit down on the brown chair with Ash sitting beside me we didn't say anything for a while I had to break the silence it was getting awkward
"what are the plans for the weekend" I say looking at the pavement
"I was planning on taking the Land Rover You, Me, Amber, Sim and Oscar all of us just going wild for a couple of days no biggie" he continues "I was going to drive the Land Rover up to Dock point then to Heaven steps then we could just walk from there" he says smiling at me
"that sounds awesome, you own a Land Rover?" I question
"yeah, I won it in a Raffle" he chuckles "why did you enter a raffle for a land rover?" I ask
"we can talk... Something cuts him off shouting you can here from afar I stand up so does Ash we look around but see nothing. I sit back down.
"What the hell was that" Ash questions sitting back down with me
"I have no idea" I remark
"so yeah anyway, we can talk about more of this when the third bell goes" he says looking at the pavement "yeah ok" I say

Two minutes I hear another shout. I look up to see a person frantically running towards us then I realise it is Amber I jump of the seat and run to her Ash close behind me.

"Are you alright?" I say quickly
"yeah I'm fine, I just threw a stapler at Mr finch he was annoying me, he was talking about some shit I didn't understand so I threw the stapler him and ran away" she said out of breath
"omg you are so rebel" Ash says clapping his hands and bowing his head
"I look down to you my queen" I act playing along. We all laugh.

{The third bell goes off}

"I'm just going to get everyone. You can get some food and stuff or freshen up whatever you girls do, I'll just meet you at Venx" Ash says and running of in the opposite direction.

Me and Amber went back to our dorms. I closed my door and go to my makeup draw making myself look more presentable, I grabbed my brush putting my brown and blond hair in a plat. "That's better" I say smiling happily at myself in the long mirror.

I close my door behind me and head to Venx it was a short walk not that long. I think while I'm walking if we could just not go to heaven steps maybe somewhere better like a forest where no one has been or you know I feel like it's just not as fun. I must tell my friends I think to myself as I head to the trees.

I run at top speed making sure no one saw me. I parted the branches and squatted though.
"Hey" I look up to see Ash sitting on the seat I had cleared from ivy.
"Hello" I say standing up. I decided to join him so I walked over and sat down
"good chair huh" he says
"yeah it is, thanks to mawah" I say putting my hand on my chest.
"Yeah thanks to your gardening skills" he said pointing at me.
"Ha ha very funny" I say sarcastically.
"Ash I was wondering if we could go to a forest I know, instead of going to heavens steps and beyond" I say looking at him
"Because" I continue
"Everyone's been there if we go to a forest then we can discover new things" I say looking away
"It could be fun" I add
"Ok that sounds good,I will ask the gang when they come" ash says

"Ow" we look around to see Amber getting bitch slapped by trees.
"Are you alright" I laugh
"Yep I'm fine, I just bitch slapped by trees, don't mind me" she says angrily getting up.
"Sorry" Ash says scratching his head.

Two minutes later the whole gang is here even Oscar.
"Sooo" Sim says scuffing his feet
"Summer was just telling me a few minutes ago we shouldn't go to heavens steps, but somewhere else where there is a forest" he says walking towards us
"yeah somewhere undiscovered, well discovered but not used a lot" I add
Oscar speaks first "I know a place"
we all look up at him.
"yeah I know a place, I used to go there as a kid and muck around and climb trees. It's not even far from here well it's far we could easily walk though, but no one would know we were there it's a pretty think forest"
"That sounds perfect" I say happily

{the bell goes four times}

we realise that, that means they want all of us to meet in the courtyard, we ran out of the trees just in time. Two hundred students bursted out of the corridors making a huge racket we made our way through the crowd and sat in the middle of the courtyard. The teachers made their way to the front of the crowd with a microphones. A loud voice chimes out of the microphone.
"Attention students we have a important nouncement to make"

we all look around in shock how could they do this. The only free weekend we have, now it's ruined by a bunch of idiots with microphones.
The students part way slumbering back to wherever they came from we just sat there. all five of us the teachers had somehow disappeared like they had portals to another place. I didn't really care about them.
