Chapter 5 Tears in a hug

"So what where you guys up too" Amber says smirking at me
"Nothing" I say kicking her leg under the table as we ate dinner.
"So this is what you were doing" I say to Amber pointing my drum stick at her.
"Yep, testing my cooking skills which I have" she says eating her drum stick
"Me and Oscar found a turkey wondering around in the woods, well first we had a fight about who was going to catch it. By the time me and Oscar and finished fighting Sim had caught the turkey" Amber says with a glare to Oscar

I was in my room when Amber came in she had changed her clothes from camouflage style to onesie style actually to be exact it was a panda onesie I couldn't help but laugh
"You had to pack that didn't you" I laugh flopping on my bed.
"Well your not much better" she says mocking my blue pyjamas with white clouds. I grab my pillow and charge at her making her fall to the ground sending feathers everywhere. Shit I think to myself that was so not a good move. Amber jumps up and lunges at me pillow or no pillow I was doomed.
"Here comes the airplane" she says pulling the evil face and poking me in the stomach multiple times.
"AHH" I scream Ash, Oscar and Sim come rushing in to find me laying out on the floor begging for mercy. Next time I scream I'll think twice I think to myself as I get poked. They all join Amber poking me till I'm in tears
"STOP"
"STOP" I squeal they stop sitting on the floor laughing there heads off. I sit next to Ash and Amber on the floor looking at Oscar and Sim.
"You guys are so evil" I say laughing
"Well I'm sure your not evil" Amber says sarcastically
"Well I'm calling this a night" Sim says getting up to leave.
"Night" I say standing up

I wake up to Amber's voice
"That sounds like a great idea, we will go there today" Ambers says squeal with excitement.
I sat up and put my hand in my bag grabbing out my brown leather coat with dark blue shirt and dark blue denim high waisted shorts. I shove them on doing my hair and makeup last.

"What are you guys, on about" I question walking in to the kitchen.
"Me and you are going on a explore" Amber says happily clapping her hands together like a seal without the seal noise of course.
"That sounds fun" I say grabbing a Ashes piece of uncooked raisin toast
"Hey!, that's mine" Ash said crossing his arms
"Not anymore" I say taking a big bite

"Come on" Amber says in a winery tone
"Ok I'm coming" I say grabbing my brown bag that had nothing inside of it. I thought I would just bring it anyway
"Ok that's it I'm going to carry you out in a -"
"I'm here now" I say smugly. We climb out of out of the tree house. The morning air enveloped me as I make my way down the trunk of the tree.
"So where do you plan on going?" I say hugging myself trying to keep the cold out.
"Away from here, I need to talk to you" Amber say grabbing my arm. She had obviously given up on me walking so instead of a nice pleasant walk it turned into a run.
"Amber wait up" I say coming to a stop.
"Come on just a bit further" Amber says. Like she said we were practically there I saw the most beautiful river ever.
"It's amazing" I say looking at the river the sun catches the river and makes it turn emerald coloured the river ripples slowly in one direction. I wonder how many people have seen this I wonder how many people get jealous of its absolute beauty.
"Yes it is, it's minty river lets just say Oscar showed me this, and I'm truly great-full he did although I'm sure I could have found it" she says kicking a small rock into the lake
"What happened, I'm not stupid" I say grabbing her shoulder
"It's nothing" she says shrugging me off
"I can tell in your voice Amber what is it" I shout
"When Oscar went to Sim to get the turkey I saw something"
"What was it?" I say
"He was there behind a tree, he was a person only he had iced blue eyes sort of like Oscars only it was wo-rs-e it felt like there where thousands of tiny pins piercing my body.
"I screamed but no one heard, when I opened my eyes Sim was there looking at me weirdly
"Did you tell Oscar?" I question
"No" he will think I was joking or seeing things.
"And besides" she says throwing her head back "why would he care, and why would I" I stare blankly at her for a while as her words sink in.

"Well, Me and Ash turned out to be real" I say sitting down a large bolder.
"HE LIKES YOU" Amber shouts jumping up and down
"YOU AND ASH SITTING IN A TREE-" she sings dancing around the bolder
"Ok I guess this g-iv-es you the rights to sing that dreadful song" I say dreading what I had just said.
"Ok fine I'll st-"
"AMBER!" I scream but it's too late, Amber drops to the ground in a pool of blood.

I slowly slide off the bolder and make my way to the the trees for cover. Running for my life I run and run tears streaming out of my eyes and onto my burning cheeks. I get to the tree house and run straight up the big trunk. I bang on the trapdoor wanting someone to open it anyone. "PLEASE LET ME IN, LET ME IN" I shout banging on the door with all my strength. Oscar opens it and I fall on top of him but he gets back up quickly.
"LOCK IT" I shout he hits the trap door twice sending two branches in a cross patten making it a barrier for anyone getting in.

Ash comes running in with Sim rushing along behind him. I get up and run to him hugging him, tears flinging out of my eyes.

"I saw him slash her though the chest with his fist, he came out of nowhere like he just appeared there, I just ran away from my best friend I had too" I cry as I hug Ash. We sat there in silence
"I know who he is" Oscar says walking over and sitting down with us.
"He is maybe the only one, well I'm not sure but he is from the same village I was talking about earlier. people say they have seen him wondering from tree to tree protecting his territory" Oscar says taking a breath
"people say that if you look into his eyes you feel like a thousand little pins are striking your body once you have felt that you know you ar-" Oscar stops putting his hands on his face.
"I wanted to tell her, b-ut I-" he cried
The room filled with silence. I had lost a friend a sister to all of us she was part of family, Oscar, Sim, Ash, Amber and Me family. Maybe she's alive maybe she's not dead, maybe I'm dreaming, maybe this is just a bad dream that my dream catcher didn't catch, but I know deep down in my heart I know this is true.

The day pasted by rather especially dinner none of us really talked, Ash hadn't left my side all day. I don't think he had any intention going too, you know for the first time I feel like I have a boyfriend who can truly love with my whole heart and not be scared, to do so.
"Summer" Ash says looking down, I look at him as we sit in the kitchen.
"I will never let anything happen to you, and I know you are upset we all are and I'm here for you forever" he says grabbing my hand from under the table
"I love you too" I say kissing him on the cheek.
"I'm calling this a night" I say as I let go of his hand

I lay on my bed closing my eyes finally going to sleep.

"But don't worry, she's dead and now I'm coming after your gang your friends are dead and so will you....

I wake up in a cold sweat. I can't take this anymore I need Ash I get of my bed and rush to his room.
"ASH" I whisper
"Are all ok?" He whispers in a concerned tone.
"Nightmare" I say flopping on his bed he cuddles me making me feel safe and finally then I know I'm safe.
