A day passed as Emile sat in her room painting on the floor with ink from a pen and Coco's hair which she cut when she was asleep.
The hair was tied to the pen she broke which allowed her to be able to do anything other than sitting around and listening to the other selfish purple bastards.
Suddenly there was a knock at the door.
"Miss Langdon is ready to interview you," said a grey from outside the door.
Emile sat up and snapped her fingers which removed the ink from her clothes and hands.
She walked out of the room "This way" said the grey.
Emile followed the young woman to an office-type room.
The girl knocked on the sliding doors and waited for them to open.
Once they did Langdon looked at Emile and softened.
"Come in," he said causing goosebumps to cover her skin.
She walked into the room.
"Sit," said Langdon as he walked to a chair across from a fireplace.
She sat down with him standing behind her.
He then sat across from her and looked at her.
He told her about the main rule, don't lie before softening slightly.
"You're not like them," he said.
She looked at him "You don't get involved with their incessant complaining" said Langdon.
"No, I'm not higher up in the social hierarchy like them," she said.
"Where did you grow up?" he said.
"An catholic orphanage," she said.
"Did your parents abandon you?" he said.
"No, when I was born the nuns took me so I never knew my parents.
They didn't want me anyway so it's fine" she said.
"Are you angry about that?" he said.
"I used to be but not anymore," she said.
The truth was she killed the nuns and children in the orphanage and then killed her parents.
She didn't know them but it wasn't hard to find out where they were.
"Where did you live before this?" he said.
"Hotel Cortez," she said.
"Interesting.
I would have thought a woman like you would have been afraid of such a place" he said.
"I found it comfortable there.
After I left the orphanage that was the closest place" she said.
"Are you married or dating?" he said.
"No," she said causing him to brighten up.
He found her gorgeous and her personality only made him weak for her.
"Tell me would you dance with the devil?" he said.
"I'm already dancing and I have been for a long time," she said calmly.
Her voice was dark but feminine and was incredibly soft and monotone.
"Really, so you have darkness within you?" he said.
"Doesn't everyone.
Those that act innocent are just hiding something" she said.
"If I told you, you could go to the sanctuary but there's only one spot and there's another person going, what would you do to that person to get to safety?" he said.
"It depends on the person," she said.
"That person is a murderer, what would you do?" he said.
Her claws dug into the chair almost breaking the leather.
"I wouldn't kill them, I would rather get in their head and make them spiral," she said.
He looked at her as suddenly the lights flickered causing her true form to show for only a second.
"What are you?" he said.
"A survivor," she said.
"I think you're more than that but alas I have another interview.
It was an honour talking to you Emile.
For how little time we had I learned so much about you and now I know you might be at the top of my list to go to the sanctuary" he said.
She stood up and walked away.
She walked out of the room and smiled softly.
He truly knew how to make happiness fill her.
