That night Emile couldn't get Langdon out of her head.
She tried to sleep but couldn't so she got dressed and walked out of her room.
She walked through the outpost as his questions ran through her head.
She felt the railing with her claws causing her to feel at peace to know this all wasn't a dream.
She walked into the library causing the fireplace to roar as the flames covered the wall.
She grabbed a book and sat on the couch before beginning to read Romeo and Juliet as the smell of ash filled her.
It reminded her of when she burnt her orphanage to the ground covered in blood.
"Restless?" said Langdon from the doorway.
She looked at him "Yeah, are you?" she said.
"Yes, I believe we had the same idea to be away from everyone," he said.
"Do you like them?" she said.
He sat across from her "No, they ask too many questions and complain too much about safe.
On my way here I noticed a woman walking through the radiation with her children.
There was a baby in her arms that were already read and all of them were covered in blisters and here these purples are in nice clothes and completely secure underground.
It's like they don't realise that I could and will through them into the radiation to fend for themselves" said Langdon.
"Before you arrived a man was killed because he was supposedly exposed to radiation.
The two leaders cooked the body and fed him to us.
I and Evie were the only ones to eat it.
She thought it was chicken and I knew that it was a he" she said.
He looked at her "It must be better than those cubes" he said.
"Yes.
What I find interesting is that they were complaining about being hungry and then refusing to eat something better than a cube.
They wanted to eat a pigeon but it was radiated" she said.
"They won't last a day in the new world," he said.
She looked at him "The two leaders here are killing them off for no reason.
Are you aware that there making up rules to contain us?" she said.
A week ago she got into Ms Venables's office by melting through the floors and walls.
She saw everything and know she knew everything.
"Explain," he said.
"I can't, I want you to see that for yourself," she said.
"Alright, but then I want something from you," he said.
"Why?" she said.
"I want you to tell me what you are because I know you're not human," he said.
"Langdon," she said.
"Michael," he said.
She looked at him "Michael I didn't know what you would think of me if I did tell you" she said.
"You'd be surprised," he said.
She looked into his eyes before making the lights go out in the library only.
He looked at her as their true faces showed to each other.
She was a demon.
Her body grew pale and demonic symbols appeared on her.
Blackness covered around her eyes and her face became cracked.
"Beautiful," he said as the lights came back on.
That's when she knew that there was something between them because when he showed his true face she felt her heart swell.
There were hooks in them both.
