A risky escape

After your little confession Venti slowly put more trust into you, it started with small things like walks around Mondstat or going out for dinner.

Eventually this evolved into you being able to visit your home in the real world, with Venti's company of course.

Despite you reassuring him, Venti was much more possessive on these walks and sometimes people who you'd talked to on these outings would not be seen on any other outings.

You doubted that Venti would actually kill someone over talking to you, that would go against his morals as the god of freedom but he would scare them.

The day came when he decided you and him would visit your home and everything was going exactly the way you planned.

You'd consumed enough media about Yanderes to know how to escape one. You had executed your plan perfectly up until now by gaining Venti's trust completely, realistically enough that he wouldn't have a single doubt about your love for him.

You'd be lying if you said there wasn't any love for Venti there but what he had for you wasn't healthy and you craved freedom. You craved something he so easily gave everyone else but when it came to you he just couldn't.

He had his arms around your waist as you both strolled outside onto the abode. Venti released you and began to use anemo to open a rift. Between the anemo swirling everywhere a faint image of your room appeared, the image slowly enlarged until the white light greeted you and Venti's faces.

Suddenly you fell out from your PC with Venti catching you on the other side.

'Phase 1 complete' you thought as you huddled into Venti laying your act on thick.

He kissed your head as he released you from his gentle but needy embrace.

You let him borrow some of your comfy clothes and he ended up settling on a foamy-green, baggy T-shirt with a frog printed on the pocket of the shirt which he paired with a green flannel pair of shorts.

You have to admit he looked so cute. It made you feel worse about what you were about to do.

But this was for the best, for you to finally have your freedom.

The bard was spooning you on your bed as you two watched Netflix on your iPad.

'Begin phase 2' you thought.
"Venti can we straddle instead?" You asked and the bard eagerly pulled you onto his lap, his hands resting on your sides.

Then you subtly grabbed your pillow from behind you.
"Get a little closer~" Venti whined and you shuffled forward in his lap so your faces were only centimetres away.

He began to lean in for a kiss.
'Phase 3' you thought before bringing the pillow towards Venti's face as you began to smother him with it.

Not enough to kill him of course, just enough for him to pass out.

Eventually he fell and you caught him while fighting your conflicted feelings about him.

You loaded up genshin on your PC and began gently shoved him through the screen again.

You offloaded genshin from your computer to prevent him from coming back through the screen.

You did the same with any other devices you had until you came to the last one, your laptop.

"Where did I leave it?" You said leaving your bedroom to track your laptop down.

You remembered watching a movie on it while you ate lunch so it must be in your dining room.

You sprinted to your dining room only too be greeted by the faint smell of green tea...... and something different.

It kinda smelled like maple leaves.

"Ah there you are maple leaf"
