Blade dodged a swift kick from Jessica. He grunted as she narrowly misses his head with her left hand clenched into a fist. She jumps over a leg sweep, and blocks a harsh punch. Finally, Blade gave in.
"I surrender! I surrender!" He said waving his hands in the air, admitting defeat.
Jessica smirked as she walked towards him and offers him a hand up. He warmly accepts it, but was surprised when she pushed him down again. "Beaten by a girl. How does it feel?" She giggled.
"A little insulting, I'll admit." Blade said, brushing himself off. Jessica offers him a hand up, except this time doesn't push him down again.
"You win some, you lose some." She replied. "Get used to it, street fighter." Blade smiled as he walked a few metres away to get his water bottle. "Thanks for sparring with me."
"It's no problem." Blade said between gulps of water. "You're getting pretty good, you know."
"It helps when you have a good partner." She replied, obviously flirting.
Blade received the message loud and clear, his eyes spreading to the size of small plates. He took one final gulp of his water, before smoothly gliding over towards Jessica who was texting on her phone. He rested his head on her shoulder, making her jump. "You know," he began. "You've worked so hard over these past few weeks. You deserve a reward."
Jessica turned around, slightly surprised. "What do you me--" She was cut off by Blade's lips smothering her voice. She was surprised and tensed up, but after a few seconds relaxed.
He gently broke the kiss. "We need to spar together more often." He said, breathless.
She giggled before kissing him again.
