When you meet - Jordan

It's your very first day at your new school. You've never started at a new school before and you're feeling really nervous. Why did we have to move? You wonder to yourself.

After checking in at the office and getting your class schedule, you locate your locker and grab the books you need for your first class - Physics. You sigh to yourself. Could be worse.

Physics isn't your worst class, but it certainly isn't your best either. Nonetheless you get your books and after a few minutes of searching, find your classroom.

You're carrying around about 4 heavy books in total, and being a new kid you are unfamiliar with your new surroundings.

As you're walking through the hallways towards the science labs, you accidentally slip on a banana peel suspiciously placed in the middle of the hallway.

You slip backwards, dropping all your books. Everyone around you stops talking and looks. Moments later there is an outburst of laughter before everyone returns to their own business.

Your cheeks glow pink and you feel like you're about to cry. Your very first day and already you've managed to humiliate yourself.

"Are you alright?" You hear a strangers voice ask.

You look up to see a dark haired boy with glasses. He has a small gap between his two front teeth, making his smile awkwardly adorable.

The boy offers you a hand up. "Thanks." You say.

He helps you pick up your books, and notices your schedule on the ground next to you. He picks it up and quickly reads it. "Hey, you're in my physics class!" He says. You smile happily. "Oh, I'm Jordan by the way." He says, extending a hand.

"Y/n." You reply, shaking his hand.

"So, is it your first day?" Jordan asks, walking with you to class. You nod. "Nervous?"

"More embarrassed with what just happened, but yeah, a little." You reply. Jordan laughs a bit.

"Yeah, you'll want to watch your back around here. There's a few meatheads around who you won't want to mess with." You nod, taking in Jordan's helpful advice.

Finally, you reach the lab. Jordan opens the door for you - such a gentleman - and offers you a seat next to him.

Although you copy down everything the teacher is saying, you can't seem to stop thinking about Jordan. He seems so sweet, so kind, so caring.

He seems so...
