Chapter 26( last chapter)

A/N OMG I feel like I should rewrite this story because this honestly sucks donkey. so I'm probably going to finish this and start rewriting 😂 but yeah... like tf was I thinking writing some of the shit I wrote 😂 well here you goooo.....

Once we reach the table the waitress assigned us, I take my seat, as does Zach.

I take a look at the menu and decide to just get a cheese burger off the kids menu.

"What can I get you guys to drink?" A waitress asks, once she reaches our table.

"Umm, can I just get a burger off the kids menu?" I ask.

" and what to drink?"

"Um, sprite,"

"And for you?" She turns to face Zach.

"Same," He shrugs.

She smiles brightly at the both of us, then turns around to place the order.

"I have one question Zach," I sigh, "What are we going to do when you leave?"

"Haven't I already told you? I'm going to come see you for breaks, and some weekends,"

"Oh, perfect!" I smile.

I might miss him-I WILL miss him, but as long as we can still see each other, Im happy with that.

"Yeah, perfect" he smiles, he holds my hand,then brings our intertwined hands to his lips.

"You have no idea how much I wanna kid you right now," I state abruptly, then cover my mouth, eyes wide, I can already feel the redness creeping up my cheeks.

"Awe that's so cute, your embarrassed," he teases,"

"Shut the fuck up," I laugh."your so cute," he smiles.

"You know you love me!" I sing along either the radio.

"Log my god Clare turn this shit off!" Zach screams.

"No can do," I laugh, then continue to sing along.

"Baby baby baby ohhh!"

I look at Zach from the corner of my eyes and see him roll his eyes at me.

"You love me," I smirk.

"You love me"

"You know I do," I laugh.

"Shh child,"

"Boy I am older then you," I say.

"No your not!" He laughs. "I'm like 6 months older then you genius!"

"Awe I'm a genius," I gush.

"Did you not hear the sarcasm?"

"What sarcasm?" I tilt my head. Playing dumb.

"Never mind,"

"I had fun today," I smile.

"Me too, ugh I don't want to leave," he groans.

"Like you said, you are going to come visit me every break and some weekends,"

"I know but I wanna go to school with you! Beat up the guys who try to get up on you,"

"Trust me with Ryan still there nothing is happening," I state, matter of factly.

"Good," he nods.

"Shut up," I laugh, playfully shoving him,"

"I love youuuu," he sings.

"I hate you," I joke.

"Zach! Marin is here!" My dad calls from the living room I think.

"Okay I'll be right down!"

I feel the tears filling up my eyes and Zach gives me a weak smile.

"Don't cry Clare," he sighs, walking up towards me and wrapping his arms around me.

He kisses my cheek. Once he reaches the car, he opens the door, turns to look at me one last time, and waves goodbye.

The car pulls out of the driveway and my family and I wave until the car is out of sight. Everyone goes inside leaving me left on the front porch watching the empty road.

I'm left with my lip quivering, my eyes stinging , and my heart aching. but maybe it's meant to be like this. To put a test to our relationship. Maybe this is what we are meant to do. Be separated and hopefully find each other again. and maybe this is just what the universe has planned for us, and I'm ready to take on he universe and still hopefully be I. Love with Zach, because honestly, that's all I really want. and nothing is in my way to stop that.

Thank you everyone who has read this and stuck with it through all the sucky chapters, and this is hard for me to end this book, but I have something planned for another time. butters the spin off, its in Bree's, and Ryan's POV, idk what it's called I forget... but it's called 'my best friends brother' the first chapter should be up by tonight.
