Chapter 5

Excuse the mistakes:
This first part gets somewhat creepy so yeah.

I wake up in my bed. it looks early. I check the time in my clock and its 5:37
I sigh and get up.

"Hello?" I yell in the empty house.

It's cold and dark but not to dark.

I walk outside and go for a walk. I regret not bringing a jacket. I sigh and walk to the park I used to go to everyday when I was younger.

It looked almost abandoned. the playground was rusty and the building that held the restrooms was covered in vines.

I walk up to a swing and sit down.

The streets are not as busy as they usually are. I look up and see a figure and its walking towards me. it's a girl I have never seen before.

"Hi who are you?" I asked.

I realize she's been crying.

"Oh my goodness are you alright?"
Her arm was bleeding.

She nods "we need to get out of here, they will find us" she whispers.

I start to get scared and I walk with her.

We walk to the school and it's empty.

"I think we will be safe here." she sighs "for now."

I decide to ask her what's going on.

"This town has been invaded with vampires." she says.

"What? " My voice cracks.

"More than half the town has become one,the others are dead."

"How much left?"

" uhh about five or six"

"Who were they?"

" Ryan,Alex, Drew,and Tyler wells, and a guy named Zach."

I gasp "they left me here." I start to tear up.

"Hey it's ok, were ok, were alive and healthy and-" she was dragged into the ground. she screamed and I was terrified.
I started to cry.

I saw another figure coming to towards me.
It's was my...mom?

"Mom!"

She smiled and ran to me.

She hugged me and I hug back tightly.

"Mom they left. they left me and I don't know what to do I'm scared and I don't know what's going on-"

"Baby girl your safe with me I won't let anything happen to you." she said crying.

As she said that I was pushed against the wall by her.
"You can join me."

Her eyes went completely black, she went as white as snow and blood ran down her head and dripped to the floor.
She grew fangs. and her nails grew sharpens long.

I screamed and right before she bit me.

"AHHHHHHHHH" I started to cry and I pulled my knees to my cheats and rocked my self back and forth.

"Clare?" A familiar voice asked.

I jumped and screamed.

"Clare what's wrong?" He asked.

"You all left when did you get back. you left me to die."

"What we would never do that to you."

"You did."

He sat down next to me "clare, what are you talking about."
