"And you think the shoulder free dress is appropriate for the case?" Y/N asked sceptical.

"First of all, it is a gala you are going to and second you look freaking good. I think Sherlock is going to like it too." Her best friend augmented as she stood right in from of her

"Yes, but it still for a case. I really don't care what he thinks about what I wear. It's Sherlock after all." Y/N said looking at herself now in the mirror.

It really fell beautiful on her. The colour suited her so well and with her black heels it's going to look amazing.

She turned around with a smile on her lips. "Fine I will wear it.".

"Yes." She jumped up and clapped her hands together like a little child.
"Come on, we will get you ready now. When is he going to pick you up?" She asked while searching after her make-up back.
"Around seven I guess." Y/N shrugged her shoulders and sat down.

Excitement spread through her body. She couldn't help but smile. Would they dance?
Hopefully.
His touch always made her feel some sort of special and imagining them dancing close together released butterflies in her tummy.

"Oh, I hate the all-happy-with-the-detective you. You can't even go a second without smiling about him." She teased her and continued curling her hair.

"You're just jealous." Y/N laughed.
"No, my sex life is perfectly fine." She answered with a cocky grin.

"Excuse me?".

"I'm just saying."
"My god, you're impossible.". Both busted out in laughter after they couldn't hold it together any longer.

Half an hour and three laughter's later Y/N was finally ready to go. Her hair was all curled and the decent but still glamorous make up with the red lipstick, which matched her hair perfectly, was also done.

She took a final look into the mirror.
She felt her best friends' hands on her shoulder and her chin resting on her shoulder. Both looked at the mirror now. "You look like a princess Y/N." She whispered proud.
She indeed looked like a princess.

Her phone buzzed and she knew Sherlock was also ready.
"Thanks for your help. See you later." Y/N said, grabbed her purse and left.

It was one of these hot summer evenings where the sky was painted in orange and red again. Sherlock waited in front of a taxi as she closed the door behind her.

As she finally turned around his jaw dropped. The last sunbeams made it looked like she was surrounded by shimmer.
That moment proved him, she was the most beautiful human being he had ever seen in his entire life, and nothing would prove him wrong.

He glanced at her not believing his eyes.
He licked over his now surprisingly dry lips.
"Hey." He said, trying to hide that he was actually speechless.

Even though he wore suits most of the time, he looked unbelievable handsome today. For the first time she saw him wearing one of these waistcoats under his black blazer and a bow tie.

"You look really good." She remarked.

He smiled at her comment.
"I only can give that back only that this would be a complete underestimation because it's more than good. But there is no adjective which might do you justice.".
She furrowed her brows.
"My point is, you look beautiful Y/N." He ended.

Her cheeks blushed. "Thank you."

He opened the door and waited till she got in. They drove to Mr. Burrettis mansion and it was hardly to overlook. Cars over cars, of course limousines and a lot of rich looking people, dressed as if they would attend the Oscar's or the Vienna Opera Ball.
