The whole day i focused on finishing my work so i didnt have to stay for extra hours. Hyunjin and Felix also did the same however they talked almost the whole time. It wasnt distracting though. As soon as the time came for us to pack up, Jeongin was already at the door.
"Come on guys!" Jeongin called out, I scurried over to him and pulled him away down the corridor.
"Lets run off without them" We started to jog down the hallway, giggling the whole time. Looking behind us, Hyunjin and Felix were just running out the door chasing after us.
"You wont beat us!" Both of them were struggling to hold their things and Felix almost fell on his face. We gained a few judgemental stares from other workers but we didnt care. All we cared about was getting outside before the others. Im not sure when it turned into a race but i wanted to win. I noticed Hyunjin and Felix were getting closer.
"We already are!" Me and Jeongin raced to the elevators and quickly shut the doors. Even though they were close, they werent close enough to stop the doors from closing. The pair of us laughed out loud as the elevators started to go down.
As soon as the doors opened to the ground floor, we sprinted towards the entrance. Most people were watching us run through the lobby. Once we were almost at the doors, a loud bang came from behind us. Still running, our heads spun round to find Felix and Hyunjin running towards us.
"SORRY DOORS" Felix shouted. The loud bang was the doors to the stairs being slammed into the wall with how strong one of them pushed it open. Me and Jeongin started to laugh again.
Dashing through the doors, we cheered as we stopped in our tracks. I turned around to see the losers on the ground panting.
"We won" Jeongin celebrated still catching his breath.
"Im not even gonna ask what your all doing" Mr bang called out as him and Minho walked up to us. Minho walked straight over to me and put his arms around my waist.
"Min! Everyone will see us" I lightly hit his shoulder causing him to smirk.
"I dont care" Just as he was about to kiss me, a voice interrupted us.
"I do so please stop with your gross touchy couple things" Hyunjin I pulled away from Minho and looked at the others.
"You in a relationship too though" Jeongin added helping Felix up from the floor.
"Hey guys" We all turned around to find Changbin walking towards the group and soon after Seungmin arrived. Everyone quickly choose which car they were gonna drive in. Me, Seungmin and Hyunjin in Minho's car and Jeongin, Felix and Changbin in Chan's car.
Minho followed Chan and the whole way there we sang our hearts out to songs.
"Cheers!" We all shouted together, holding our glassed in the middle.
"This is nice after a day of work" Felix added once everyone took a sip of their drink.
"Yeah... How come we did this again?" Jeongin said.
"Well... think of it as a nice treat for ourselves" Chan, who was sat next to his boyfriend, replied.
"I'm glad were all friends" I spoke up with a happy smile across my face.
"Yeah, i used to think Minho was a scary boss but hes actually just a big baby for Jisung"
"Yah! Im still your boss... dont think just because we are friends i wont give you extra work"
Everyone laughed along. Everything was perfect. I have a great group of friends. My handsome boyfriend loves me as much as i love him. Ive finally got a stable job and i feel like i can finally forget what happened in my past.
Clinking glass sounds pulled me out of my thoughts. Changbin was gently hitting the side of the glass with one of his utensils.
"I have a question I'd like to ask someone. Its been in my head for a while now" Everyone on the table quietened down and looked at him.
"Felix..." Changbin turned to the blonde boy next to him before continuing "Will you be my boyfriend?" Most of us let out quiet 'aww's as we watched Felix start to smile brightly.
"Of course!" Felix threw himself at Changbin and the pair of them shared a passionate kiss causing Hyunjin to automatically say ew making everyone around the table laugh.
The night flew by and we all had great fun. Talking about anything and everything, laughing together.
It was just a nice time.
"Before we head home wanna stop by at a bar?" Minho questioned. A drink sounded like a perfect way to end the night so i nodded and told Seungmin. He was okay with it because Hyunjin was gonna sleep over at our apartment.
"Lets go" We walked down the street hand in hand. We were both quiet but it was a comfortable silence.
"You okay?" Minho asked, squeezing my hand gently to get my attention.
"Yeah... im just happy. My life has never been this good before and its all thanks to you." The smile on my face didnt fade even the slightest.
Me and Minho got into a bar that wasnt too crowded and had some drinks. We laughed a lot, spilt a drink, apologised to the waiter a hundred times as she was cleaning it, laughed some more and overall had a nice time.
"Jisung" Min said as we were finishing our last drink. I hummed in response. "What do you think about moving in with me"
I stopped drinking and placed the cup down. My jaw was wide open, was he joking around?
"Really!?"
"Yes, i would love to live with someone who can make me smile by just looking at me." He held onto my hands, "What do you think?"
"YES!" I shouted, causing a lot of people to stare at me. I had no room for embarrassment, i was too happy. Minho laughed at my reaction and eventually i laughed along with him. Until his phone started ringing.
He showed me who it was and it read 'Jeongyeon's Mother'. I nodded motioning for him to take it. As he got up to take it outside, i downed the last bit of liquid still at the bottom of my glass. Recalling the events that just took place, i smiled to myself.
A hand was placed on my shoulder very aggressively. I got scared but i thought it was Minho. Before i could even look up at the person, they spoke.
"Long time no see... Hannie" I froze on the spot. Why now? Everything was going fine.
