"Minho will work it out so im sure it'll settle one way or another" Reassuring him, I smiled with my dimples showing.
For a while now, ive known that Jeongin liked me but im not sure if i should bring it up. Im slowly starting to like him back and i cant tell if its a good thing or not.
The rest of the night we all talked about random things and laughed together. For some reason, I was glad Jeongin didnt drink anything. I felt so protective over him, it was weird but i didnt stop it from happening.
Once everyone finished their food we all got up and started to leave.
"Well, ill see you guys at work then" Felix said putting his hands into his pockets "And ill see you..." He turned to Changbin with a smile.
"Whenever you want" Changbin asked with a cheeky tone. Everyone watched in shock as the two guys flirted however brushing it off and going our separate ways after saying goodbye.
"Oh... Jeongin, wait up" Once i turned to leave, i realised Jeongin was going the same way as me.
"Your going this way too?" He waited for me to catch up to him before speaking.
"Yeah, i live like... ten, fifteen minutes away from here"
"What a coincidence" I nodded in agreement and we both went silent.
It was a peaceful view. We were walking past a small pond with a willow tree draping over the still water. The moonlight glistened in the reflection.
The sudden urge to hold the youngers hand filled my mind and it took alot to hold back. His eyes looked so pretty and his face looked flawless. Should i ask him?
"Are you okay, Chan?" Not noticing that i was staring, Jeongin quickly snapped me back to reality.
"Huh? Oh um... yeah im fine" For some reason the feeling of confidence grew bigger. It felt like the right time to ask the question ive been dying let out, "Do you like me?"
The fox eyed boy stood there in shock. I watched as his cheeks and ears turned red. I know he was probably terrified but to be honest i was worried he'd reject me.
"I want to know truthfully, so please dont lie to me"
"Yes... yes i like you" I was surprised at the fact he stared straight into my eyes.
"I think i like you too" I added
"You think...?"
"Im scared that if we become something... you will leave"
"Why would i need to leave someone like you?" His confidence made me giggle slightly since he was usually a blushing mess.
"Lets try it out?" Jeongin added. It escalated quicker than i thought and at first i was taken back but what was stopping me from doing it?
"Hmm" Gently grabbing his hand, i held it before looking back at him, "Then let me take you on a date tomorrow"
A smile formed on his face, "Okay"
We continued walking through the beautiful scenery except this time we were hand in hand.
i know... that was short but i havent updated this story in like a week so i wanted to give you something... sorry for any mistakes i literally pulled this out of my ass when i was meant to be sleeping.
