Kindred. The Wolf and The Lamb x Abused lost child reader

I looked up who these two were and have looked if there were any one shot stories but I didn't find any so I decided to make some myself I will make more with these two when I have ideas for stories.

(Y/N) POV
"I can't take it anymore!" I shouted before running away from my terrible family, they chased after me but I don't care I don't want to live with them anymore, I ran away from the village and into the forest certain they wouldn't follow me inside as they were afraid of it but I didn't listen why should I anyway after all the terrible things they did to me, beating me, cutting me, I don't care if whatever is in the forest kills me I don't want to put up with those horrible people anymore and if I do die I will accept my fate as long as I am away from them.

After what felt like hours I stopped to catch my breath, looking back the way I came there was no sign of my terrible family in sight I guess they didn't follow me into the forest, I smiled feeling free at last, I looked around, I had no idea how deep into the forest I was but I didn't care, I began to walk around the forest admiring its beauty, I can't believe my family kept me from the forest it's so beautiful here, I continued looking around when I heard something it sounded like rustling leaves I looked around but when I did the rustling stopped a little unnerved I started walking again although I thought I was alone I felt like I was being watched maybe it's just the wind or maybe an animal. That's when I saw a symbol that looked familiar to me, I walked over to it and saw...it was the symbol of THE WOLF and THE LAMB my grandmother had told me the story of them and how dangerous they are, she also called them the masks of Kindred because of how powerful they are, she also told me that if you see their masks there will be no escaping them, then again very few have survived, maybe they were the rustling sound I heard if so I wasn't going to delay my fate by running, closing my eyes I turned around waiting for an arrow to hit me but it never came, I opened my eyes and they weren't there, I looked around and saw no sign of their masks I looked back at the symbol and it was still there maybe it Mark's the entrance to their territory "(Y/N)! Where are you!?" I looked back the way I came the voices of my abusive family approaching quickly and without a second thought I ran past the symbol hoping the wolf and the lamb would put an end to my miserable life before my so called family can.

I ran further into the forest hoping to find the wolf and the lamb so they can put an end to my pointless life, I tripped on something and fell to the ground, I tried to get up but I couldn't I looked to see I had busted my ankle, I look to where I had come the sounds of my angry family was no doubt heading my way I looked around and spotted a nearby bush and just barely managed to crawl to it and hide within it  and waited until they past the bush I was hiding in. I waited for about 10 minutes before crawling out of the bush I tried to stand up again and just barely managed to keep my balance, I began to limp my way going in a different direction so I can avoid those terrible people "I hope whatever or whoever lives in this part of the forest ends me before they can." I said to no one that's when I heard the rustling again I quickly turned towards the sound and saw the bush I was hiding in shaking I limped my way towards it but as I did the rustling stopped, I stopped a few feet away from it waiting for whatever was there to come out, but never did,'maybe it was just the wind' I thought to myself that was until...I heard them albeit in whispers "What do we do with it little lamb?" Said a deep male voice "I don't know dear wolf she seems too young to die." Said a female voice...it's them the WOLF and the LAMB and they were talking about me "She has not yet lived her life her time has not yet come." Were they sparing me? Why? "(Y/N)!" My eyes widened as I turned to the people who have hurt me for so long ignoring the pain in my ankle I ran with my family hot on my trail I tripped and fell down some sort of slope damaging my ankle even more I looked up to see my family heading down the slope after me, I barely managed to pick myself up and continue trying to run.

I don't know how long I have been running it could be hours, after a while I fell again and I didn't have the strength to pick myself up. I looked for anything I could use to help me that's when I spotted that symbol again with whatever strength I had left I crawled over to it managing to reach it as my family were in range to grab me before they could an arrow hit my mother causing her to collapse in pain the shot didn't kill her that's when the wolf and the lamb put themselves in between me and my family "what are you doing?! Get out of the way!" Shouted father in a blind rage. The lamb looked towards me "worry not little one for it is not your time." She said softly before turning to face the people who wish to hurt me, I laid down unable to move at all as I did I noticed the symbol was glowing curiously I turned to it, while looking at it I was dimly aware that my family's fate were now in the hands of the wolf and the lamb as I could faintly hear their screams of pain and misery but I didn't bother to turn to them nor acknowledge they were there as they called for me to help them, as they did I couldn't help but smile at the thought that they think I would help them after all the hard ship they put me through, I stared at the glowing symbol as the wolf and the lamb disposed of the most horrible people I have ever known, soon enough there was silence the only sound was the sound of the lamb and her wolf companion approaching me and taking position next to me as I layed there I slowly took my gaze off the glowing symbol  and turned to the wolf and the lamb "don't worry little one they can no longer hurt you." I couldn't help but laugh a little "yeah at least I never have to deal with them ever again especially after everything they put me through." I said still in pain the lamb put her bow down and pulled me closer to her "you shine brightly, hush now rest." She said softly slowly my eyes and fell into the abyss called sleep.

Lamb's POV
Wolf and I watched as the small child closed her eyes "What do we do with her little lamb?" Wolf asked "I don't know dear wolf." I responded that's when our symbol began to glow brighter catching our attention, we both stared at it for a moment we both realized that something began to form...it is a mask it seemed to be a mixture of our masks perfectly even I grabbed the mask as wolf and I looked upon it, I looked at the small child then back at the mask, I smiled "All sparks kindle new flames." I said wolf looked at me. "What do you mean little lamb?" Asked wolf I looked at him with assurance "It seems she is to be one of us dear wolf." His eyes widened as he realized what is to happen to her "One of us?" He asked I nodded. "We can teach her everything we know." I said as I looked upon the still sleeping child. "We can teach her to hunt?" Wolf asked excitedly I chuckled and nodded. "But what will she be?" Wondered wolf we looked upon her and the mask as we did. We heard something a voice we couldn't tell who it was but it said "Lambwolf." That's when we knew what her new name is now. "Lambwolf?" Said wolf still looking around for who spoke. "Lambwolf a perfect name for her." I said as I looked at her "Are you ready dear wolf?" I asked "I am little lamb." He said I nodded and put the mask on who was once known as (Y/N) who was once a frightened little girl who was beaten by her own family is now and forever be known as Lambwolf and she is under our guidance we will teach her to hurt and take down those who cross our path who knows what the future will be and we will be together forever more, with Lambwolf with us there is no doubt we will become stronger and we will teach her everything she needs to know as she is now one of us.
