Sorry this is a sad one

(Y/N) POV
I stumble through the forest heading towards the shrine I made for the two spirits known as the Wolf and the Lamb I've heard stories about them and how dangerous they are, even though many say they are monsters and should be avoided at all times I believe they should also be respected so in secret I managed to build a shine in their names to pay my respect to them I bring gifts everytime in case the two are watching, I reached the shrine with the intricate picture I made for them I hope they like it. I began to place all the gifts i brought with me. "Here you go fresh meat for Wolf and some fresh herbs for Lamb." I said "Even though many see the two of you as being that don't deserve any form of respect." I stated "But I think otherwise." I added. "I think you two deserve respect from others. I hope that every life that crosses your path is worth your time." I said before I could say anything else I began coughing furiously making alot of noise in the process, unable to stop I still heard the sound of something approaching.

Lamb's POV
Wolf and I watch as the small girl known as (Y/N) came to the shrine she made for me and Wolf, even though  many have told her to stay away from here she still comes here every night when everyone is asleep to pay me and Wolf respect which is something no one else has done for us, she would do this from dusk till dawn then go back home before everyone wakes up, it is hard to believe but Wolf and I have grown to like this little girl as she wishes nothing but good upon us it's a shame that she is sick and dying, she is such a sweet young mortal, we then heard her begin coughing furiously and it was the we knew her time was near, Wolf and I began to approach her, I laid down my bow and held as her coughing died down and was able to breathe again and opened her eyes and saw us looking upon her, her eyes glistened as she saw us. "Don't worry (Y/N) we won't hurt you." I told her. "You know my name." She spoke softly "We know your child woven countless almost lives." I told her, "Why are you here?" She asked curiously. "We have been watching you for quite some time now." I answered. "You are the only one that has ever shown us respect." Her eyes widened at what I said. "Really?" She asked Wolf and I nodded she began coughing again as her life was reaching its end when she stopped coughing she could no longer move. "Lamb why don't we tell her some stories about us before she goes." Said Wolf. I nodded and so we did, we told her about the battles we had won and the ones we are yet to have. (WOLF.  Lamb. This should help tell which one is talking) "And everywhere Lamb went." "Wolf was sure to follow." "All will know us in time." "Tomorrow is a hope never a promise." "Wolf chases what does not willingly go." "The only true death is to never live." These are the things we told her, her breathing began to slow. "Your time has come little one." I said softly still holding her in my arms. "Hush now rest, depart in peace." I told her slowly her eyes closed "I'll never forget the two of you." Were her final words. "And we." "Will remember you." We laid her body to rest. "What will we do now little Lamb?" Said Wolf. "She showed us respect even in her final moments. We should do the same for her." I said and from that we had made a shrine in her name for she was more than just some mortal to us, she was a friend, a humble respectful person and we will remember her for forever more.

I literally cried making this I hope you guys enjoy the stories I made sorry this is a sad one but I hope you like it.
