As my father walks in my body immediately stiffens up. I glare my fiercest at him. Meanwhile he smiles with no emotion.
    "Hello daughter." He says.
"You should be ashamed!" I scream, my cool exterior fading to pure rage. "You. Tortured. A. Child!"
"The bratty brunette?" He asked with  sickening amusement.  "She attacked an officer who tried to help her. He was making it fair."
"You really are a monster" I mutter.
"What Did You Say To Me?!" He yells.
    "Monster!" I scream.
"How dare you!?" He yells. "I am your father!"
"You may be my blood, but you are not  my father!" I yell.
He's speechless for a few seconds, then the first strike hits.
"Gah!" I yell recovering from the burning on the left side of my face.
"Now, that didn't need to happen did it daughter?" He says brushing his hands together.
"You're making this happen." I say. "Let me go!"
"Now listen close young lady," he says tilting the chair I'm tied to forward. "I don't take orders I give them, you will appear beside me at the next public outing. You will describe a daring escape from the rebel base."
"And if I refuse?" I ask.
"Then my darling, you will learn to comply in your room. Alone." He says storming out.
A little while later a guard comes in. "Any message for the emperor?"
      "My face hurts."
