The Familial Adventure- Chapter 8

Another year pasts by as they live in harmony
Happily and lovingly.
As Cale started to learn more and more from those who are older than him, he gained new talents and hobbies he didn't even knew he had.
He learned how to cook and his "sloppy" art is more stabilized
He earned the hobby of reading
Like lots of reading that he had already finished reading every book in the library that they have
That same library was made bigger with of course magic
It was filled with thousands of books with their own sections of which genre
And was already read by the both human and dragon.

But something was bothering the red-head these days
He noticed how he learned these new things but it was never about his current caretaker
And so being the witty 16 technically 36 years old human he is
He arranged a day for Kim Rok Soo.
That being just him with the help of the ancient powers making the dragon be the star and the centre of their attentions
Which the other noticed and pointed out
"Stop" "Stop what?" He smiled innocently
"Stop acting like that. Don't think I don't notice what you guys are doing" The other then pointed a finger at the powers gesturing them to exit to talk to his chil- I mean the kid he "babysits" alone.

He then crossed his arms "So? What's happening?" And with everything he can muster out of his reddish brown eyes, Cale used his most effective and most strongest only reserved for Ruksoo puppy dog eyes while pouting asking a question "Do you not like it? I just thought that I should treat you specially starting from today. Do you hate it? Should I just stop then?" He absolutely looked adorable with his teen face with small baby fat still left from being pampered by the dragon and the powers.
It made an arrow strike straight to the heart
His insides bloody from the sudden rush of cuteness
His mouth twitched threatening to curve up to a smile
Ah, he really is too weak and soft for his child..Wait whose child? This kid he means.
Kim Rok Soo can only sigh as the human continued to spoil him rotten.

As usual he cooked breakfast for him and joined him in a reading session until lunch, where he cooked some more food for him
After that he then baked snacks and did not leave his side for the rest of the evening
Dinner came after as he fed the other again some food he cooked and then more of doing things with him and sticking to him all day.
The red-head spoiled him with his affection for a whole week.
After that, it only calmed down a bit as his chef, artist, companion in reading, baker and more filled him up with magical feelings called love.

But wait..

Are they happy?
Well let us see, because our main characters seems too contended to care (which is deserving for them. Great for them)
Let's look onto it from 6 years ago till now.

After Cale was "kidnapped" Deruth started to look everywhere frantically
He payed mercenaries but until the end, there is no sign of his son.
(He never treated him like one anyway)

He was just on a vacation away from everything with his pregnant wife until he heard the news of his son getting poisoned and missing
(It wasn't the first time.)

He immediately went back and didn't care for everyone who gave him a nasty look
He left his wife now behind.
He needs to find his son from his beautiful wife.
(The people can never forgive such an ugly father for neglecting their own child alone for months)

He made sure that every guard searched everywhere but still found no traces of him
Days turn into a month, the citizens of the Henituse County ignored its Count
They didn't care for him anymore after being so shtty
The guards did what they want and protected everyone
(Their master never continued doing his responsibilities and did their schedules correctly like their young master anyway)

The workers started to leave one by one and in the end only Ron and his son are left serving him
Their relatives started attacking Deruth from the inside to the out
And up until now he forgotten his wife and baby still yet to be born.
