It has been a year since Will Byers had supposedly, Barbara Holland actually died and it has been a year since Rena lovegood Uncle passed away it's also been a year since since she moved in with the Byers family sometimes living in her uncles house  (now her house )and sometimes living with the Byers family she broke off her engagement with Jason  and made her relationship with Edward ( Eddie) Munson public and official since last year rena quit tutoring students and she quit the debate club now just focusing on her education the student council and cheerleading she is now also best friends with Nancy wheeler and Diane Henderson ( Dustin Henderson older sister )

Rena and Eddie where sitting in Rena's house high watching movies " babe?" Eddie says and she looks down at Eddie who is sitting in her lap " yes, my love?" Eddie looks up at his girlfriend and starts to stutter " do you d-do you uhm.." Eddie starts to blushes and Rena smiled " your adorable Munchy" Eddie's face goes red " why do you call me munchy, sweetheart?" Rena smile's and strokes his hair " well your last name is Munson and you get super hungry when your high so it comes from Munson gets the munchies so that's how i got munchy" she smiles and Eddie thinks about and then laughs the couple enjoy there time together before the both of them hear the doorbell ring Rena rushed to the door and opens it

" oh mrs. Mayfield what can I do for you?" Rena smile's and Mrs. mayfield back " well it's been a bit from the last time we talked my dear" " true, would you like to come in?" Rena says and Mrs. Mayfield nods walking into the house " Eddie, get down here!" Rena shouts and Eddie comes out of Rena's room " yes sweetheart?" Eddie looks at hope mayfield and Mrs. Mayfield looked at Eddie " how rude of me this is my...friend Edward Munson and Eddie this is my neighbor hope Mayfield" Eddie looked at Rena then cleared his throat before shaking the women's hand " nice to meet you mrs. Mayfield.." Eddie says " you as well" mrs. Mayfield says in a passive aggressive tone Reina can definitely feel the tension between all three of them but she makes the three of them lunch and they begin to talk about things like this is my field job and Eddie and Rena's school life until the topic comes to California

" oh and how can I forget William and Maxine are coming back this year along with their twin siblings Maximus and Brianna Rena, billy has been writing and he said he's so excited to see you again!" Rena started to tense up and I was first created a ball under the table " that's lovely I wish Billy just wrote me back though I'm sure you told him they had the same address correct?" Rena says and Mrs. Mayfield nods " you know Billy was just so heartbroken after he broke up with you and moved to California"

Eddie blatantly said up from the table and walked away pretending to go to the bathroom as the two women looked at him " well I understand I'm very excited to meet Brianna and Maximus I'm sure Max has grown so much" Rena smile's after about another 30 minutes Mrs. Mayfield leaves and Rena walks upstairs to see Eddie in her old bedroom " Eddie..." Rena whispers she knew the consequences of what was going to happen " I thought you said you never dated him you lied to me!" Eddie says " OK I did lie to you Eddie but it wasn't even for a month it was probably like for a week at the most!" Rena defends her self " but still you lied to me you promised you would never lie to me!" Rena didn't know what to say after that so Eddie left

" Great now I'm in deep shit" Rena says to her self and she hears her phone ring " hello?" Rena answers her phone " did you forget that we're going to the movies in like an hour and you haven't called me or Diane!?" It was Nancy after the events of last year the sisters of the party ( Nancy Diana Diane and Rena )became close " shit I'm so sorry Nancy I just had Mrs. Mayfield over and I got into an argument with Eddie but I'm getting ready now I'll meet you at your house in like 10 minutes!" Rena says and she hangs up the phone Rena took a quick shower and brushed her teeth and did her hair before roaming through her closet and finding the perfect outfit for a Halloween movie
