(finn)
i pointed to the crew to go take the right up ahead, i pretended i need to take a breath so they wouldn't question why i wasn't following, and said to check if the runner had went down there. i knew he was behind all the trash bins anyways, i could heard his shaky breaths. i stood behind the wall, waiting for him to come out. i wasn't going to hurt him, as long as the others didn't appear.

the runner started to climb out, his face dropping instantly as he saw me turn the corner. i put my hand up to my lips, telling him to shush. "are you okay" i mouthed. "no" he replied back with a soft smile. i could tell he was hurt and offered my hand to help him get down which he accepted and winced as he hit the ground. my phone buzzed at the same time.

"Meet back at branch- V".

nah i wasn't going back yet.

"what's your name" the runner asked innocently. "finn" i found myself responding "what's yours?" i asked. "nice to meet you finn" he smirked, before attempting to walk away before collapsing to the ground the second he put weight on his foot, my instincts to catch him. "wow, you really should call someone to get you" i said with concern. "no-" he whined in pain, "i'll be okay" he reassured me.

"where do you live?" i asked him.

"what you think i'll tell you after you and your gang chased me half across the country?" he said with humour but i could feel the tension.

"i'm not like them." i said with a serious tone. "come on where do you live" i reinstated

"north end" he replied, "and my names javi" he smiled while putting out his hand for me to shake.

"well nice to meet you havi, sorry for the bad first impression" i joked awkwardly, "come now, let me walk you home" i said while putting my arm around him, helping him walk to the main street.

"we can just get a taxi?" havi said with confusion on why i hadn't thought of that.

"oh, yeah, i forgot, north end, rich boy" i joked to which havi smiled. i'd never been in a taxi before. taxis were a luxury to me. i could barely afford the number 4 bus into the city.

i waited with him until his taxi came, and escorted him into the backseat. i went to close the door before his hand stopping it, "aren't you coming?" havi questioned, "it's the least you could do" he laughed. why not i thought to myself. i walked around the car and got in to the other side. this was so strange.
