"I am in need of ice cream, Lia." Willow shouts from the other end of the call while Arden is laughing. When I agreed to be their roommates I didn't think they were going to use me as their personal chauffeur and caretaker.

"I just want to go home, Willow. I don't want to stop at a night shop." It was a long practice where the guys made me sing the same song a million times. They didn't like how it sounded so I had to change it a few times.

And the only thing that made me happy was the thought of going home. I wanted to sleep for the rest of the night and the following day. It was hard to sing songs that were written during my darkest period of time because they always bring back the memories. Bad memories that I rather don't think about.

"But I want ice cream, Lia." I can just hear the pouting in her voice and she knows how that makes me feel. I know that I am going to stop at the night shop and buy her all the things she wants because that is what I do. I fucking buy everything for them.

"Send me the list of ice cream and food you want." Turning around, I see the light of the night shop that knows me by name now. The owner knows whenever we have our period because we shop up in our joggers and buy all kinds of chocolate. He knows when one of us went through a bad breakup or date because then we buy too much alcohol.

And not once has he judged us. He sometimes gives us stuff for free because we deserve it.

"You are the best person in the world, Lia" Willow shouts and I can already tell that Arden is covering her phone because otherwise, I would have ear damage. It is already bad since I play in a band and I stand beside the music boxes. But Willow shouting is worse than that.

"I know that, Willie." Seeing the light of the night shop is all that I care about. I want to get all the ice cream they want and leave so I don't have to stay another moment away from my bed. I am already thinking about the soft touch of my pillows and how good my bed is going to feel since I freshly made it up this morning.

"Be sure to get the cookie one twice." Arden hangs up the phone and I let my phone disappear from my bag. I will probably have to look through it to find it later but that is a worry for then. I need to get the ice cream so I can finally get into my bed.

"Miss Liandra, are you okay?" The owner, Colin, looks worried at me. And I don't blame him because I am holding six different ice cream flavors in my hands. "I am okay. Just a bit tired and Willow asked for ice cream. You know how she can be when she doesn't get her ice cream on time."

"Ah miss Willow. I understand." He goes back to his cash register and starts to count money. I have always wanted to know what the story behind Colin is because he is so nice to us. He always asks us questions and even bought Arden a gift when she got through her first exam of kinesiology.

"Are you sleeping enough, miss Liandra?" Putting the ice cream down, he starts to scan them and put them in a bag for me. He only does that for us for some reason. Arden thinks it is because we remind him of his daughters. "I just had a long day practicing. No need to worry about me."
