A/N: Ok first of all, thank you so much for all the support. This story has over 800 reads. I really appreciate your patience, since I haven't been updating *cough cough* very actively ;) but I'll try to make it up to you.  I can't believe I've been writing this story for over a year now since I started in July 2021.

I also updated the cover of the book :)

I decided to make this one a longer one as a bit of a special chapter. But yeah, that's all, let us continue now.

You stood there dumbfounded. Cate was gone and she had  left you there as confused as ever. You stared at the door she went through, she had closed it behind herself. Your mouth was agape and you breathing was heavy after your little sesh. You tried to compose yourself and make yourself look like you weren't just left desolated and bemused.

you cleared your throat and straightened  your posture. You started to pace around the room. Was I that bad? what if she doest come back? does she hate me? No. she just probably got cold feet and didn't want to hurt me or something. You tried to be reasonable, even though it was difficult to say at least. You were trying to come up with a rational explanation. what if you had done something wrong. what if you invaded her personal space or took things too fast. After all you met her like what, a week ago? But again, you were both consenting adults and there was no harm in a little fun. The thoughts clouded your mind, to the point it hurt to think.

After a while you got tired and collapsed on the sofa, you had made out on only 15 minutes ago, your brain had completely shut down. It had started to get really dark and the stars were now completely visible. It must be midnight already. You were now scanning around the room you were in. There was a digital clock on the wall,

00:36

Oh damn its that late already. You took a good look around the cabin until your eyes landed on a very expensive looking bottle of whiskey. You got up instantly and made your way to the shelf it occurred on. on your way you snatched the glass you had been using earlier.

It didn't take you long to realize the shelf was quite high up for your liking. You were pretty tall but the shelf outdid you on that matter. You rose to your toes and tried to reach for it. Your fingers brushed lightly on the hard glass.  just an inch more... almost..... the bottle started to rock slightly. It didn't take it long for it to swing to your hand. You got a good grip on it and slowly brought it down on your eye level. You eyed the obviously more expensive than your apartment bottle of whiskey in your hand. Was it rude to open her bottle? Yes, yes it was. But it was too late for you to listen to your head.

You screwed the cork open and inhaled the sweet sweet aroma of the alchohol. A smile took over you face the moment you brought the bottle to your lips and took a good taste. You took your time to appreciate the  high quality boose. You were used to drinking cheap wine from the lowest shelf in the shop, or $0,99 beers. The warm burning of the amber liquid made you organs jump up and down from happiness. This was going to be a long night. You started downing the liquid in a steady pace keeping in mind you didn't want to get too wasted to completely embarrass yourself of course.

you glanced at the clock

Oh shit. It hadn't taken you too long to almost finish the whole bottle of whiskey. oops. However the feeling of alchohol rushing through your system made it all worth it. You stared at the ceiling while laying numb on the floor. You had never felt that relaxed before. Not one thought on your mind. You had even forgotten all about cate and your little event earlier. Or you had, until the door swung open.
