His Bestfriend

The Walk at the Park

It was tuesday, and school was over. Cody, and I (thats his name) had talked to each other all day. We became close too. He struggled through depression too and I finally found someone who went through it and had the same hobbies as me. I knew that right there on the spot that this kid was gonna be my bestfriend.
Anyways, we decided to go to the park.
"alright, lets go." cody said walking off.
We arrived and went to go sit down on the benches. We just looked at each other at the same time. It was awkward, but cute.
Codys POV
We both caught each others eyes looking at each other. She had such beautiful blue eyes. And she was so beautiful. I didn't know what to say, and she didnt either. So we both started laughing and blushed.
"You know, you have some unique eyes." I said to her.
"Really? Thanks. She said smiling at me. She was just also blushing. It was so cute.
It was finally 11 pm, and yeah we were still out side at the park. We went to go lay down under the stars.
"I miss my parents." Marissa said to me as a tear rolled down her face.
I slowly wiped her tear away.
"Its okay, shes always going to be here around you. And yeah, I miss my dad." I said looking at her.
All of a sudden some park rangers came running to us.
"Why are you guys out this late in the park? Do you not know the park closed at 10?" One of the said yelling.
"Im sorry, we will leave." I said.
We ran off laughing our asses off and we both looked at each other. "Haha that was funny." Marissa said to me.
We both hugged each other.
"See you tomorrow." She said to me.
