Ch. 5: Entrance Exam (part 2)

(GUESS WHO'S NOT DEAD!!!)

The contestants immediately started dashing into the entrance with no hesitation. The Ninja made their way to the front of their groups and started clobbering robots like it was nothing. It really wasn't hard, the nindroids they faced were more of a challenge than this.

With Kai, he was slashing and burning robots with ease. He'd sometimes use concentrated blasts of fire to end them in one go.
"HA! How you like that?! You just got KAI'D!!"
Kai laughed, he had nearly forgotten how good it felt to use his element in battle. The other contestants were shocked at how fast and powerful he was, he was like a pro!
"Jeez man, save some for the rest of us!!"
A constant said, and Kai realized that he wasn't giving others a chance to get some points.
"Oops! Heh, sorry!"
He smiled cheekily before going back to fighting, he did back though, so others could get some points too.

With Jay, he was having a jolly good time giving robots shock therapy. Due to his appearance lots of the other contestants dismissed him as a weak noodle that would probably fail. But now they saw just how wrong they were. Never judge a book by its cover.
"Oh? You're approaching me?"
Jay grinned as multiple robots came at him from different directions. He made no move to get out of the way, and instead focused on the electricity inside them, then he manipulated it and caused the robots to short circuit. He walked away from the scene like nothing happened continuing to absolutely destroy robots.

Cole was a literal bulldozer, half the time he didn't even need his powers to destroy the robots, just pure unbridled strength. But he needed to show off his powers so his strength wouldn't be mistaken for his quirk. So he chucked pieces of earth at the robots and crushed them no problem. He also used his scythe to slice and dice them. His brute strength shook the arena like an earth quake. But he made sure to restrain himself so he didn't destroy ALL the robots. He'd also save other examinees if they were in trouble, it was a hero's job after all. Unknown to him, he got extra points because of this.

Zane used his ice to get around the area quicker, freezing all the robots in his path. Then he got down and started using close combat, Sensei wanted them to get back into shape after all. Relaying so heavily on their powers is not what he would've wanted. He took the bots down with ease, they were bulky and slow. Not meant to fight a ninja such as him. He also took the time to examine the other contestants. They were all beginners, but they had fascinating quirks. One thing Zane liked about this world was its diversity of abilities, unlike the elemental powers in Ninjago, and only one person could hold each element at a time. The ash blonde explosive boy from the Sludge Incident was aggressive, very aggressive. He kept yelling things like "die" or "outta my way extras". He seemed dead set on coming on top. Zane didn't doubt that he'd pass the exam. But for now he should focus on his own.

Nya used her element to cause the robots to short circuit, by slipping water through the openings and dousing it from the inside. She also used concentrated blasts of water to destroy the robots. But she'd also use her ninja skills to sneak up on the robots and find the switches that shut them off. All in all she was doing great.
