Shoto woke up to his head pounding. He groaned and rolled over to grab his phone off the bed side table. He had a missed text.Touya 8:58 pm
You need anything?
The younger Todoroki looked up at the time. It was already 9:15 pm. Had he really slept that long? Geez. This quirk flu thing was for real.
He got up from his bed, shivering as the air hit his feverish body. He walked out to the kitchen to refill his glass of water. As he turned the corner, he could hear Touya watching tv in the living room. He peered in and noticed him watching Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
"That's one of my favorite movies." he commented. Touya turned around from the couch.
"hey... yeah mine too." Touya smiled slightly, "feel up to watching? it just started." Shoto sipped his water and shrugged, "sure."
He walked over to the couch and took a seat on the other side of the couch. Shoto was wearing his baggy sweats, a baggy hoodie and tall socks yet was still freezing. Touya noticed how cold he looked, despite being bundled up. He grabbed the blanket off the back of the couch and tossed it over to his little brother.
Shoto felt it fall next to him, he looked down and immediately wrapped the blanket around him.
"thanks." he said looking at Touya. He nodded.
About half way through the movie, Shoto felt his eyelids get heavy again.
How am I still so tired? He thought to himself.
He didn't put up much of fight when it came to staying awake. Within 10 minutes of the sleepy feeling coming on, he was out, his head on a pillow, body curled up in a slight fetal position, still wrapped in the blanket on the couch. Touya noticed his younger brother dozing off, but decided he'd leave him be instead of making him go back to bed. He knew that he, himself, didn't like being alone when he felt sick, he couldn't imagine Shoto liked it.
Touya stated to feel tired himself and before long both Todoroki boys were fast asleep with their movie playing quietly in the background.
It was 3 am when Touya was awoken by the sounds of someone getting violently ill. He sat up quickly remembering how sick Shoto was. He panicked as he looked over to the empty blanket that once held his brother within.
"Shoto?" Touya got up looking anxiously. He followed the sounds of sick into the kitchen where he found Shoto hunched over the sink.
"Ah, Sho. You okay?"
Shoto groaned, holding his head.
"... don't feel good.." is all he could get out.
"I can see that." That comment earned a nasty glare from Shoto, though it was short lived as another wave of sick wracked through his body, resulting in him heaving over the sink again.
Touya did the only thing he could think of doing, and that was supplying him with another glass of water. He stood by and waited until Shoto was done.
"Water?" Touya extended the glass out.
"Mmm." Shoto groaned looking at the mess in the sink, still holding his head in his hands, "not done."
Touya frowned at him, "... i don't think you got much left in there. Wanna try to go back to the couch? I can grab a bucket or something." Touya suggested. Shoto took a deep breath, "okay..."
Touya let him get back towards the living room before rinsing out the sink behind him.
He joined his brother in the living room after finding a trash can to accompany Shoto on the other end of the couch. When he walked into the living room, he saw Shoto wrapped back up in the blanket with his head on his knees.
