Just Best Friends?

Chapter 3

His blue eyes, his dark brown hair, and let me tell you puberty, well it hit him hard.

He had grown like at least a foot. His voice got like ten times deeper, and he over all just looked a lot older.

**Hayes POV**
I knocked on the door, cause it was locked, I figured cause Emma and Sky were home alone.

And I have to be honest I was spiked to see Emma. I've always had a huge crush on her. She's perfect. But after I blew up on vine we didn't hang out that much which deep down inside killed me.
And seconds later after I knocked Emma opened the door and Sky jumped right into my arms. God I missed her. I said hi to Sky then out her down. And then I looked up and saw the gorgeous girl that I had had a crush on for what seemed like forever. I quickly stepped toward her and gave her a hue hug. Saying "Emma! I missed you so much!"

**Emma's POV**
After realizing how hard puberty hit him and Skylynn giving him a huge hug; which let me tell you made home even more attractive. Hayes came right over to me and said
"Emma! I missed you so much!"and engulfed me in a huge hug. I've always known he gave great hugs; but I felt so safe in his arms, smelling his Cologne on his sweatshirt, cuddling up in his chest. I was so happy to see him. After a long hug he let go and after that we stood there for what seemed like forever. Just staring into each other's eyes. It seemed like time had frozen and we were the only two in the universe. Then reality hit us.
"Will you two play horsies with me?" Skylynn asks

"Sure" we both say and smile at each other cause we both said the same thing.

--Skip to middle of playing--
"Hey after we put Skylynn to bed you wanna watch a movie together,we have a lot of catching up to do." Hayes whispers into my ear.

"Sure" I whisper back and smile.

"What are you guys whispering about your supposed to be playing with me." Sky says and hands me another horse.

"Sorry" I say guilty.

"Me too" Hayes says.

And we both slightly chuckle.

--Skip to putting Sky to bed--
"Goodnight Skylynn sleep tight" I say and hug her

"Night Emma" she says

"Goodnight Sky love you see you in the morning." Hayes says and gives her a kiss on the forehead. Then we go to the living room and pick out a movie. We decide on "She's The Man" and watch it together. About half way through it I get tired and start to get cold and I shiver. Which Hayes notices. So he says
"Here have my sweatshirt" he Susa taking it off

"Thnx Hayes" you say slipping it on over your top. The sweatshirt which is a size or two too big is super comfy.

"You look cute in my sweatshirt" he says and you blush.

"So how have you been?" He asks and from that simple question you two talk till 1 in the morning about everything.
